Having travelled to Mexico several times, I have to say this is the most authentic cuisine in the area. The Mole Poblano was fantastic . My husband and I enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. I would definitely recommend this gem.

This is a pass: small restaurant unexpectedly short-handed. Manager nice, apologetic. We excused ourselves, did not stay.

It’s an authentic gem. Maybe a little rough around the edges, but some of the best Mexican fare in Western New York.

After reading a write up in Buffalo Spree, we decided to try this restaurant. On a very hot humid evening, there appeared to be no air conditioning or fans. I was served my dinner first (I ordered the tamale with a side of guacamole though I had to ask a second time for the guacamole) and my husband waited an additional 15 minutes to get his served. The restaurant was essentially empty except for some take out customers so why both dinners were not served at the same time was disappointing. My husband’s side dish (beans and rice) was cold, even after we asked for it to be replaced. The restaurant is new and doesn’t have its liquor license yet. Also, it needs to be cleaned! Though both meals were good- served hot and fresh, and service pleasant, we will not return.

Food was horrible and tasteless. I mean, how can one screw up refried beans? The soft tortilla had the texture like they put straws and twigs in them. My baked pork dish, the pork lumps were so dried out and crusty they were like chunks of gravel. How can pork stewed in a sauce be dried out and crusty? They managed it. Now on to the positive. The waitress was nice; we had reasonable service. To their credit, they took my pork dish off our bill. But I had a bowl of instant ramen noodles when I got home, cause I was hungry.
