   I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The waitress was inattentive, and the food was overly salty and barely edible. I expected much better quality and service. I hope these issues are addressed to improve future customer experiences.

   Mexican Sugar in Uptown is a good value for above average Tex-Mex. The food and drinks were presented nicely and portions were plenty. We were a party of 4 had the guacamole and arepas to start. Three of us had the barbacoa tacos and one had the steak fajitas as our main. We also had the margarita flight, which is a good way to try three very different types of margaritas without stumbling home later. The food and drinks were great. We requested a booth when we made a reservation but were told we could only have it for an hour, so we were seated at a table by the window instead, Two of four chairs were not clean and the atmosphere was super loud. Lots of families and parties mixed around the dining room. In the end we all decided we might come back for lunch sometime. Not really good atmosphere for dinner conversation.

   Went for my friends Birthday brunch and we had the best experience Esme was great and super helpful would definitely book again for another group dining

   We had dinner at Mexican Sugar for a friend’s birthday, and the ambiance, service, food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Mari was our server and she was amazing, friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great evening!

    Really wanted to like it but the chicken fajitas were almost inedible. Dry and bland. Everything else drinks appetizer and atmosphere was great.
