I have written a ton of glowing reviews for Mexican Sugar. It’s one of our favorites. Unfortunately, the service was terrible on this visit. No one checked on us, we had to order drinks from a manager, they dropped the food and disappeared without needed sides. The food and drinks were still great, but the poor service made it less enjoyable.

Always luv going to Mexican Sugar. The food is really tasty. Even though I am vegetarian, I had many good options to choose from. Drinks are potent and delicious! Ambience is great too. This place never disappoints and is a great value for money.

First off, I made a reservation and had to wait for a table. I specifically asked not to be placed in the middle and that's exactly where they attempted to seat us. 35.00 flight drinks came out with water spots on the glasses, so the glasses looked dirty. There was no effort put into making them look appealing..for tequilas probably want limes on the glasses or something to spuce it up. The food was ok..the lime rice was really good and the salsa they bring to the table they should sell in a jar, it was really good. Observation of the food on the menu..it was fair; Taste of the food..it was fair. Service: I hate having to repeatedly ask for things from the waiter, but he was nice. However, if someone tell you they've never been to your establishment and look lost you should take a minute to help them out instead of rushing off. This location was Fair overall. I would've appreciated a better experience, but I'll just keep looking elsewhere. It's worth a try to draw your own conclusions, but I'd definitely suggest going to happy hour if it's your first time to get a glimpse before throwing away your money on a fair experience.

Mexican Sugar was amazing and lived up to all the great things I heard from my coworkers who live and visit the area. Loved the margaritas, fajitas and tres leches dessert. We had a party of 6 and everyone loved their food!!!
