Great amd unique flavor. Definitely recommend the half moon nachos!
First, I'll preface with the fact that we've been here many times and we will definitely be back many times after this one and, by far and away, this was just an off day. The service was overall only moderately attentive which is very out of the norm for this restaurant group and for this restaurant. Food, as always, was fantastic, but unfortunately, the order came out wrong and very late, about 30 minutes after we placed the order with our waitress. Seemed like an off day, like I said. When we got our order and it was still incorrect, the manager came over and she gathered the needed items and got them back out to us about 5 minutes later. When we asked our waitress for the checks, she did forget, the poor dear, so we asked another of the managers, I think. After 15 minutes without our check, I spotted the first manager and went to ask her for the checks so that we could make our next spot on time. She was a doll and so apologetic. She comped our meal (with 6 drinks among the four of us), and apologized profusely. Without a method to pay on our card, we pooled cash and tipped the waitress because this is her source of income and she was probably still learning or just having a bad day. 2/4 of us had been waitresses and 4/4 of us have worked in food service. I would highly recommend this place to everyone even still. The food is always phenomenal, the service is 95% of the time awesome, and the drink menu is spot on. The restaurant group trains its people well and the management team handled our situation perfectly. Go try this place, seriously. Honestly, I still have no complaints about it. Everybody has bad days. Tip your waitresses and bartenders no matter what(!!!!!!). Be nice to food service workers, especially in these times. Everyone's doing their best. Go enjoy some tacos and live your best life at Mexican Radio!!!!!
Loved the food and the service was amazing!! Can't wait to be back for more!
Poor service and food was “okay.” The server forgot to put in our order several times. We would have to ask about it the next time she came over for her to remember and she was unapologetic about it. In fact, she blamed the kitchen for forgetting to put the order in.
We were excited to try the vegetarian tacos. The crispy buffalo was the highlight of the meal. We tried the Brussels sprouts as a side which seemed Asian inspired...? Confusing. We also got an order of the crispy rice but it was very salty and otherwise flavorless.
I went with my friends for my birthday dinner, we made a reservation for 5pm and were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was great as always!
Birthday lunch—thank you for providing outdoor seating with social distancing at this challenging time. Love the outdoor space, with the fans. Great food too. Empanadas especially.
Unique version of 'tacos'. I highly recommend the Dole Margarita!
The waitress was lovely. The food presentation was very bland, white quesadilla on a white plate..boring. Throw some condiments on it too or something. Also the nacho's are literally like 10 big chips. Everything was tasty, but I was expecting more from my first time in this artsy district. Coming from NYC and also living in Denver for a while, these types of art districts usually have a high bar for restaurants. Sadly, I found myself wishing we had tried a place down the block. I would still recommend since it's local and hopefully learn what works best as they grow.
Birria tacos were delicious. Please add to everyday menu.
The menu is very limited. But the food is really good. I really like the mixture of flavors they have in their tacos and their sides. The frozen drinks are too small.
Great service. Fun and laid back but attention to detail exceptional.
Great place. Music on patio was a little loud making conversation at table hard to hear.
Food was phenomenal and a very good price. Atmosphere was very cute and trendy. Chairs were metal and hard which was not the most comfortable but I understand it’s a cute look. I totally would come back. The cocktails were off the charts! Very inventive menu and most importantly delicious with awesome vegan options. Even my non-vegan friends at the table got the vegan tacos and loved them.
Delicious guacamole, salsa, and tacos! Excellent service as well.
Loved it! Food was yummy. The cauliflower side was SO good. Ate outside. Will return!!
Our service was outstanding and food/drinks are wonderful!
Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts; perfect blend of flavor and heat!
Food was a little over salted for us
We were expecting a bigger menu but this is definitely a taqueria, with not much else except a couple salads. The tacos were tasty but this might be the only place in OKC that charges for chips and salsa. We paid 8 bucks for queso and were still charged $4 for salsa, even though we ordered more than one taco each and multiple sides. For 4 adults and a two year old our tab was 100 bucks, not really taqueria prices imho. Our server was friendly and speedy. Everyone did a great job with spacing out the tables and wearing masks.
Loved sitting outside. Great taco options...trying to sample them all!
Food quality was subpar. Bland salsa guacamole and queso. Tacos fell apart immediately upon first bite with a desperate need for additional salsa or seasoning to add flavor. Drinks were good.
Great food, delicious drinks, attentive wait staff.
Food is delicious as always.
Mexican Radio NEVER disappoints!!
We sat outside and were SWARMED by flies at all times. Horrible.
Lived up to my expectations! The Kale Ceaser Tostada was fabulous. Service was excellent and we felt very safe. All staff was masked and the restaurant was very clean.
We wrapped up our family vacation once we got back into town by trying Mexican Radio. Our kids are 19,17 and 10 and they loved it. All around great experience!
We enjoyed the cod taco and shrimp po boy taco. Both delicious! The guacamole was nothing special, but can’t wait to go back!
Great food. Doing very good on cleaning and social distancing within the restaurant.
Great place to eat!!
Food is always fresh and drinks are tasty! We always enjoy MR!
Delicious! Drinks were good and tacos were on point. Great spot.
Food was fantastic. Fried chicken taco out of this world delicious.
Fun , great food.
Love their food. Made reservations as I have heard the capacity was causing longer than normal wait times.
We were 6 with reservations, and were seated in the cassette room. Absolutely the worst acoustics, echo, loud, impossible to have any conversation.
Could be solved with some creative art work or wall hangings. Good Egg is one of my favorite operators,
obvious no one from mgt has had a dinner in the room
Mexican Radio was so good! It was my first time and we loved it! We had to push our reservation due to a minor emergency and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food and drinks were great! I recommend the Dole Whip Marg!
I am so glad I finally made it to Mexican Radio. The Pork Belly tacos were delicious.
We really enjoyed out first visit to Mexican Radio. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. Service was prompt and courteous. The overall vibe was contemporary but comfortable. We will definitely be going back.
Most of the food was fantastic. We tried four different tacos and loved two (pulled pork and brisket) and felt the other two were ok (carne asada and carnitas). Queso was good and service was fantastic!
Food very good. Service excellent. Noise level a little intense
