   It was super hot in the restaurant The food was absolutely delicious but the cocktails were below average

   Overall, an 8 out of 10. We attended for "Mother's Day" brunch and our table was perfect. If we didn't have a window view-table I think the experience would have been much different - in a negative/confined way (I made reservations weeks in advance). Our food was a bit salty and myself and my dad got sick after our visit...makes me wonder if someone in the kitchen was sick or if we caught a "bug" from a fellow customer. I would like to visit again on a warmer/sunny day and when we can sit outside.

   The staff at Metropolitan was very friendly and flexible. We had no trouble making a reservation for 5 for Mother’s Day weekend and shifting it the morning-of when we were running late. Bottomless mimosas and bloodys are reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Can’t wait to return!

   Had a great morning at Met. Our server, Meghan, was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Will be back again.

   Everything was great except for the cleaning fluid smell that permeated the air. It usually doesn’t smell like that though! We are definitely regular customers.

   The food was good, took a while to come out, but was good nonetheless. The service, however, was horrible. My friend got a bloody mary that tasted like someone poured a bucket of salt in it but the waitress wasn't around enough for us to say anything. Even though the food was good, wouldn't rush back for girls brunch.

    Overall a good experience, the chef's selection for the charcuterie & cheese board was the biggest hit. It would've been nice to know the selection of cheeses and meats selected. Our server was relatively new and could only tell us what the cheese of the week was. The metropolitan salad with chicken was huge and filling. The lamb burger was equally delicious. The porky omelette and the northside benedict were the least favorite dishes. Will definitely go back, if nothing more than for drinks, the charcuterie & cheese board and to experience the rooftop.
