Their meals never disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the meals are never rushed. Always look forward to visiting when in town. Be sure to make reservations in advance!

Really disappointed with the lack of communication. They called me to move a booking due to a maintenance issues (completely fine). Showed up on the evening of the new booking, for a birthday celebration, to find a note on the door that they were closed for power outage. Surely you could have called to cancel or inform us of the change. Very disappointed in this.

I've dine at Metropolis frequently and always received excellent service. The noise level is such that you can actually carry on a conversation without shouting.A good place to eat and catch up with friends.

So I love this restaurant and last night was disappointing. The service was very kind and friendly but slow. It took awhile for the food to arrive. The panzanella salad was overflowing with croutons - way too many, and i ate some and left 1/3 on my plate with the rest - though the salad itself was a tasty. The mussels looked and I was told by my companion that they were good, but the portion, for the price, was small. I will go back; its too cozy and sweet a spot to not try again, but hope the next visit will be what I have come to love about the place.
