   Took my wife for Mother’s Day n out first time here. It was amazing experience, very chill n lay back environment. I will go again for sure this time for dinner! Thanks for the awesome experience

   I had two guests that enjoyed their food. We shared the calamari , which was good. Salomon and pasta with shrimp was reported good. I ordered the hamburger which was overcooked and not good at all. I had a side salad that was good. Highlight was the sweet potato fries.

   Nice chill spot. No need to make reservations as no one greeted us upon our arrival! We seated our selves, had to take places setting from another table. Appetizer Fries came out cold. However, the cocktails & sea bass entree was delicious. Seemed like there was only one server working. There was a live performer in the bar area that was nice. The parking is a mess!!! Took almost 20+ minutes to get my car from valet.

   The food was very good. While our server was very nice, we had to request water etc. several times before receiving it. There was only one other table occupied in the entire restaurant, therefore we deemed the lack of service unacceptable.

    Service not good. Food OK. Ambiance pretty but they keep turning off lights cause not enough business in the day, and there’s always this small flying bug issue in the dining room that they can’t seem to solve (after I’ve been there about 4 times already)

    Casual dining before going to a nearby concert @ LA Live Microsoft Theatre. Price reasonable. Ambiance good. Service good. The restaurant is inside Hotel Indigo. I had street tacos with steak and shrimp that was tasty.

    Not a terrible place just terrible for the purpose it was intended. They hosted a Mother’s Day Experience that really wasn’t. The ambiance is more of a bar than anything and should be considered ONLY for such. Limited seating and literally nothing special about it on a special occasion day.

    Valet service was a bit slow upon arrival but I think they had an issue with another car. Pickup was great. Our food service crew was great. We were there for the Mothers Day Brunch.The food was a bit bland but cooked well. I had the Fried chicken plate. The batter could use a bit more seasoning, but the chicken was tender and not greasy at all. My wife had the Short Rib sandwich. A little dry but nothing some Bar B Que sauce didn’t take care of. I will definitely return to try some other items on the menu Great place to have a drink

    We booked this for mother’s day for my mother and wife. We didn’t realize this was inside the hotel. Once we arrived we entered the hotel to find no hostess and we had to walk around to find someone to seat us. Our waiter was very nice. The hot drinks and cold drinks were all room temperature. The food was luke warm, crunchy, and lacked flavor. We could barely eat it and left most of it on the plate. Adding insult to injury was the price. Disappointing.

    The interior was nice and we were treated well by the woman who seated us. However, it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. I had to flag someone down after asking one of the bus boys to get someone. The service was atrocious but the food was ok. I wouldn’t go back if the service is the same level.

    Server was very nice and attentive. Food was good. Awesome salsa and chips. Empanadas underwhelming and average. Tacos good. Always surprises me when Mexican food is subpar in So Cal. Just shouldn’t be so. Cocktails we’re good but very pricey.

    Me and my GF really loved it there it was our first time and our first date food was amazing and delicious we will return but I reservation early enough to request a a specific seating but it wasn't available but hopefully next time thanks for the service my waiter Daniel was awesome

    Despite my GF & I purchasing a pre 4 coursed meal & wine pairing to go with it, plus 2 cocktails & 2 extra glasses of Prosecco we were given the lousiest service humanly possible. I’m a manager at a restaurant but I’m always reserved with any judgement I have about service as long as someone is paying attention. That night it did not feel true at all, waiter took 10-15 minutes to approach the table to get any drinks or even offer water. Cocktails were taking about 10 minutes to arrive, waiter always seemed to be closing tickets in her computer instead of checking on tables which is what she was doing for 5-6 minutes before approaching our table after she had already ignored us for several minutes before. Overall, I feel really disappointed because my check was about $300 & I could’ve just spent that money at a small, local restaurant and had more fun, & more than likely, a more attentive service.

    Pretty setting, and the food was just fine, when it finally came. But they must be understaffed as the host seemed confused and unfamiliar with the facility. We were then not even acknowledged at our table for a very long time. However, once our waiter arrived, he worked extremely hard and did a great job.

    It was okay. If I’m having a salmon blt with truffle fries I would expect there to be more flavor in the main then in the side. It just tasted like store-bought salmon on bread. Also I’m not sure what’s the point of showing two different kinds of house sangria on the menu and not having either of them. It was only 6pm. If you’re not making it print a more updated menu. The staff was nice, but that’s not enough reason to return. Sorry.

    My husband and I were really underwhelmed with this spot, which had great reviews that lead us to select it for a DTLA date night experience. Even the images made it look far more appealing than it was. Consider it a comparable to an airport restaurant with more expensive food options. Everything from the lighting to the table set up. The service was interesting. Our server came to our table clearly finishing a bite of her own meal, without a mask on, and speaking with the leftover bite of food on her tongue and cheek. The bartender and the bus clerk, however, were fabulous and friendly. The food was mediocre. Empanadas just laid on top of slathered guacamole was interesting… still tasty, but the guacamole made the empanada soft on the bottom. The Oso Buco was way overpriced for the Portion and nothing like the online menu picture on Opentable. Not even our 4th choice for DTLA dinner… even if we were staying at the hotel

    Love the decor/vibe! Drinks are unique and delish. Food is outstanding, with smaller portions. We were able to get apps, entrees, and dessert without feeling overly stuffed! We are 1000% going back again soon!

    Truthfully, didn’t end up eating here because I have a ton of allergies and the one thing that looked safe/good to me they were out of stock at that moment. BUT, I do appreciate our server Destiny checking with the Chef on other items and presenting alternative options regarding said allergies even though they just weren’t what I was craving. And the drinks we had were awesome as well - LOVED the Bee’s Knees, very well balanced! I do plan on trying to come back to try the dish they were out of someday soon!

    Was looking for a place to eat before a Clippers game. Booked the Metropole, never having been there. Shared the tacos and empanadas. Outstanding. Great reasonably priced wine. Was surprised there weren't more people there. Service was fast and efficient and easily got us to the game on time. Overall a great experience.

    We had stayed at the hotel indigo a few years ago and tried metropole and it was pretty good. Tonight we were staying at a different hotel and wanted Mexican food but being Friday night and covid it was difficult to find a reservation anywhere except Metropole on Opentable which showed them having openings every 15 minutes. We drove there and asked the hostess to seat us but she said she was full even though several tables were empty and Open Table still showing openings. I showed her my phone and the app and she said she didn’t care what open table said she had to honor her customers who had previously reserved. So I booked through open table for the next 15 minute slot available and showed her I had received a confirmation for a reservation which she said she wouldn’t honor because it was last minute. Eventually she brought some body else over who said I do t make the rules I just enforce them. I told them I wasn’t trying to cause trouble but I had made a reservation, there were tables open, it was the time confirmed and we’d just like to eat and suddenly they fiubd a table and we sat down. After that service was excellent and food was terrific Portions small and a little overpriced but we just ordered more food and didn’t think twice .. it’s covid and we really glad to be out. Next time I will call the restaurant directly so it doesn’t turn into another twilight zone experience with the hostess

    The hotel is in a good location, the structure and decorations are beautiful. the ambiance was a bit out of place since a group of young fellows having dinner on the terrace were smoking a marijuana cigarette even though there were signs posted on that area restricting any smoking within 25 ft of the hotel. The smell was pretty strong and no one in the hotel addressed the situation but just ignored it. The food and service was amazing and other than the smoking incident I would highly recommend it.
