Waiter was Graham, he was great! Food was delicious, just wish portions were bigger. Overall, would definitely return and definitely would recommend!
This was the perfect spot for cocktails to start my 29th birthday celebration! The service was impeccable and made my visit memorable. Always look forward to visiting Metropole!
Ambiance was great. We sat in a corner booth seat and it was comfortable and cozy. The wait staff was awesome providing great service but not stopping by too frequently. We enjoyed our food especially mine, Smash Burger with fries. Typically I would get a different entree than a burger but the description was too hard to pick something else. You can’t go wrong with any of the drinks. We wrapped up dinner with coffee and the apple tart. It was a perfect dinner date for us. This was our second time and we’ll be sure to come back for a third time!
Every time we visit metropole it is a great experience. The food is always outstanding and the atmosphere is wonderful! We have been there three times now, and each time the service is just as good as the last.

Very small portions for the price of the food. Both of our meals were finished and we were left wanting more. Very limited menu but we had the choice of the valentines menu which is what we both got
Unique menu and very neat atmosphere. Waitress was extremely well educated on the menu and ingredients. Would definitely return while in Cincinnati

Everything we had was delicious. I had the sweet tea brined chicken and it was very good.

Would definitely recommend the Braised Beef Short Rib Bolognese! The beef is super tender and flavorful.
The drinks were a little light on booze, but the service was excellent and the Metropole candy bar was amazing!

Our reservation was for 7:45 on New Year's Eve. Our Server was wonderful! He was very helpful when asked for suggestions and was extremely sensitive that our dining experience time was .limited due to the 10:00 curfew. As always, our meals were wonderful, with all of the little extras that sets the Metropole above!

My husband and I love the Metropole. We come for anniversaries and dates. I have a lot of dietary restrictions, but I always get a lovely meal well worth the price.

Enjoyed a special menu for Christmas Eve, a 4 top. All 3 entrees were tasty, as were the 3 app selections. Both desserts were also tasty, but we all liked the chocolate because it went w/ the cognac (& we were feeling festive!)
We live in downtown Cincinnati and have dined at Metropole several times. As always, the food was excellent and Dave’s service was impeccable.
It was an experience from the moment we walked into 21c. This was so unique and everything was amazing. Service (David) was VERY knowledgeable and made the experience perfect with specials and recommendations that hit our tastebuds without him knowing us! This is definitely on our list to return to during a different seasonal menu!
Food was very good. The drinks were fantastic. Service was decent. The hostess was extraordinarily friendly and polite. All in all a good experience and another solid dining option in Cincinnati.

Business dinner with a colleague after many many months of no visits to indoor restaurants. It was nice to get out. The restaurant was quiet and COVID protocols were good. I ordered the Fazzoletti which was just ok. My colleague ordered the Braised Short Rib and said it was fantastic.

Second year I’ve let the kitchen at Metropole take care of Thanksgiving and can’t wait to do it again!
First time visitors. Unique setting with a fun and funky decor. The service was warm and welcoming. We visited on Thanksgiving and the food, turkey dinner with butternut squash soup, was excellent. The coffee was great as was my mixed drink. We dined early so the noise level was very quiet when we arrived. When we left, the restaurant was nearly full and included families with young kids, but the noise level wasn’t noticeable. We had our 6yr old son with us and I’m usually concerned about the noise he creates. There was no concern that night. The music, a wonderful mix of Mowtown-80s, was not loud but probably helped disguise the noise level. We look forward to returning to try the regular menu.
The experience from entry to exit was wonderful. The coat check gal was warm and welcoming, the wait staff was great and the chef was exceptional, as usual. I am nothing but grateful to all of the staff who they gave of their day to make mine so memorable. 🍽Thankful.

Excellent brunch. Great staff, fantastic location amazing food. We had the ham and cheese grilled sandwich with a side of goetta. It was absolutely amazing. Staff were wonderful too. If the rest of the menu is the same then you’re in for a great. A great place for a meal whatever the occasion.

While the drinks were well crafted, the food was not. The charcuterie board and beef tartare left a lot to be desired. The menu did not invite interest. The restaurant was quiet and the service was hospitable.

Excellent first meal here! It was our anniversary, and a long time since we had eaten out, so was hoping for the best, and it did not disappoint: The service was great – waiter & manager – as was the food – fantastic Burnt Carrot salad & Braised Short Rib! – and of course the setting – comfortable and modern. Metropole is fabulous! The servers are very knowledgeable, and able to make great recommendations. The bartenders are skilled at their craft and make amazing cocktails, both on and off the menu. Any time I visit Cincinatti, I have to stop here for drinks, a meal, and dessert. I usually end up stopping here more than once during a stay, and the staff are always hospitable and make visits memorable experience!

Birthday celebration
We celebrated our anniversary at Metrople and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, our waitress was very sweet and even brought us champagne on the house! Highly recommend this restaurant.
