It was a nice dinner with an attentive waiter.
This was a wonderful dining experience before going to the theatre.
A lovely dining experience. The goat cheese and beet starter was delicious! Love the cotton candy after-dinner treat : )
Enjoying a good dinner with friends we haven’t seen in a while.
The food was fantastic. Our server and all the servers were very attentive.
My biggest issue with my dishes was the level of citrus. Really didn't need high acid in every dish.
Everything we had was fantastic! We split a pasta and an entree. The scallops were amazing and the tomato pasta was light and flavor.
Best food in Cincinnati with inventive dishes and a solid wine list. Our server was a real pro something that feels like a dying art.
We enjoyed it so much we ate there two nights in a row.
The service was outstanding and the food was unbelievable!!
This place is a gem and if your in the area it’s no to be missed.
Taste, texture and presentation were all very good. All of the portions for protein were too small for men and teenage boys. We left hungry.
My girlfriend and I had a dinner last week here. The food was not very well cooked. We got the bread for an appetizer, which was burnt across most of the crust. The crispy deviled eggs had little flavor. My girlfriend had the pasta with crab which was very salty. I had the steak, which was cooked well but topped with burnt vegetables that tasted horrible. It was overpriced. We probably won’t go back.
Grea cuisine. Innovative, but not overworked. Delicious fresh ingredients well-prepared. Glad to see Metropole keeping up high standards!
Creative & delicious food- always! Wonderful service. Staff is masked which shows respect to the client and makes me feel more comfortable.
Wonderful experience! Delicious and unique dishes with perfect service
An excellent dining experience. Excellent ambiance, great and attentive service without being overbearing. Superb menu and overall a VERY enjoyable experience. Metropole and the 21c Museum Hotel are gems in Cincinnati.
This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but the last two times we've been there we've not been enjoying the menu too much. My husband always gets the filet and enjoys it even though it's nothing too special. I used to love the burnt carrot salad but that's been gone for a long time. They have quite a few gluten-free options but they just weren't things I enjoy. Service and ambience were excellent. Menu is just so limited...
David, our waiter, was great! Attentive but allowed my client and I personal space to chat business. Food was delicious and will return.
Restaurant was essentially empty, but service was still slow, albeit incredibly friendly. Calamari dish had to be sent back due to it being way over salty. They recognized their error and sent another, though it had the same issues. Chef brought out a different dish as consolation, but it wasn't very good, unfortunately. Food was mediocre in general.
Overall, I'd expect the service and food to be much better from a restaurant located in a 21c property.
Wonderful service by Jeremy, good food, and delicious appetizers!
Went to Metropole @ 21c for Restaurant Week. We had stayed away before because the past menus were not to our preference. The current menu is much better and all of the food was wonderful. I would prefer if the portions were a bit larger. The ambience is Ok for a hotel restaurant and the service was a bit rushed but the food made up for it. Metropole will now be on our regular restaurant list.
The food was fantastic and deliciously complex. We will be back!
Very nice atmosphere, food and service.
The Metropole is such a great place to have drinks and/or dinner! It’s in an older building that has kept many of the original features and is a part of 21c Museum Hotel so you can peruse artwork as well. If you like creative cocktails and new takes on dinner made with locally sourced food, then you should definitely try Metropole. I would recommend the All Caps cocktail which was tart and very tasty. My husband and I had the special experience which was 3 course meal with several options to choose from. I enjoyed the summer squash panzanella, seared salmon (delicious), and cream fraise ice cream with peach compote. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious! My husband had the crispy deviled eggs (yum), Cavatelli Cacio e Pepe (pasta w/pink peppercorn and Parmesan), and the dark chocolate tart (Mmm!) We look forward to going back again!
The food and service were very very good. I look forward to going back.
Participated in Restaurant Week 2021. Their offering did not disappoint. Everything tasted great, the service was friendly and right on, and you can’t beat this place for ambiance.
Came here to celebrate Cincinnati Restaurant Week and my daughter moving to Spain.
Steak dinner was excellent & everyone enjoyed their meal. Friendly waiter who did great job. Would recommend for casual meal.
Took in this restaurant during Restaurant Week. Always wanted to try it. We were very happy with the food and service. Love the entire vibe of the hotel lobby and restaurant. Will go back.
The food was phenomenal. Asked a special request for a birthday and they accommodated. Great for special occasions
Our first visit since Chef Miller took over, and we were not disappointed! Metropole remains our favorite restaurant in the city. Terrific ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable servers, outstanding cocktails and wine, and (last but certainly not least) the menu items are out of this world. Contemporary and unique, but not over-the-top. Simply could not recommend more.
Great food, great service, will return if in Cincinnati in the future.
Great food and great vibe. Love the art in lobby
Wonderful food, service and ambiance
We went there for an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, knowledgeable and attentive server, and they don’t rush you so you can have a laid back experience. Great appetizers, cocktails, entrees and dessert! One of the best steaks of my life.
Terrific meal, great wait service and interesting art.
The bread service was awful. 2$ per person for one roll each that was cold in the middle. Salads had very little flavor. Burgers and halibut were delicious. Service was excellent. Setting is special, in a modern art museum.
Good experience with delicious food and excellent Old Fashioned. Made sure we were served timely for attendance at event across the street.
Their menu has always been the best, over the top best. They now have a new chef, I looked at the menu and found nothing that made me go wow. It will be the last time we go to 21c
Fabulous food. Jeremy was a terrific server. Great art galleries. Overall, a wonderful experience.
