   The food, seemed like a restaurant trying to be too different, quirky. It failed miserably on several accounts. I wanted to really like this restaurant, but sadly this is a one and done for us.

   Very limited menu considering it was a Mother’s Day brunch. Service was less than average, not very upbeat or cheerful. Just was not up to snuff given the assertion of this being an upscale restaurant. Example, table was tacky and we had to ask for it to be properly cleaned. We had to ask for salt & pepper and then a server came and asked us if they cord take it to another table shortly after it arrived?

   This was our second experience at Metropole. The first was Ok. We “tried” dining there again today. We had a ~10-15min wait to be greeted by our waitress for the first time, and then another ~30-40min wait before our cold, soggy breakfast food arrived (for only 2/3 of our group) … By then, we had all lost our appetite. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for Brunch, based on both poor service and low quality kitchen management.

   Food was absolutely delicious. Fresh and flavorful, and reasonable priced for quality of ingredients Server was friendly but forgot more than 1 of our ordered drinks otherwise 5 stars all around. We'll be back.
