Meta Restaurant in Oceanside is the supreme Long Island dining experience. It is the perfect gathering place for friends, family, or clients - everyone who appreciates great food. It has been ZAGAT Rated as one of the Best Italian Restaurants on Long Island since the doors opened in September of 2000.

Owned by Chef Roberto Bosotina, every meal at Meta is prepared with the finest quality foods, cooked to perfection and served by the friendly, knowledgeable staff. The full and extensive menu, aside from the signature daily house specialties of three oven roasted fish, succulent duck, and baby pork osso bucco, is rich in antipasti, unique salads, seafood specialties, mouth-watering meats, and delicious desserts. Chef Roberto believes that good food equals good times. And a good time is guaranteed every time you dine at Meta. The cozy, friendly atmosphere is inviting and just one bite will convince you that the food is clearly the best food under the sun.

    They have a great menu. The little neck clams Oreganata is an excellent appetizer and the Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin is a great entree.

    Our waiter Willie was not as attentive as we would have liked, and he wasn’t waiting on a lot of tables in the back room. Also, the air conditioning in the back room was lacking. But everything and everyone else was PERFECT! Thank you for another great dining experience. 🤗

    Amazing, as always. Meta is always my favorite place to celebrate. Dinner was great and great to see Adam. Try the chicken parm; you won't be disappointed.

    Quiet dinner for two this time Sat. Night. Reserved ahead for a quiet table and Michelle had it ready and waiting for us. Our server Barbara was very attentive and service was quick and accommodating. We even had some guests surprise us after dinner so we finished the evening at the cocktail bar for a nightcap. Of course being joined and welcomed by Owner ‘Roberto’👍👍

    I have never had a bad meal here! The service is amazing, the food is delicious and it's located in my neighborhood in Oceanside. A true gem!!!
