The pasta flight was great, although one of the dishes had undercooked pasta to the point that it was stuck together like a rock. Kind of surprised by this since the pasta flight is their big draw. The waitstaff and barkeep were excellent, attentive and very good at their jobs. 100/100 for that. Decor and ambiance was modern, sleek and comfortable. Loved it. Parking? Not so much, but that's to be expected at the foot of Queen Anne. We'll be back!

First off the service was amazing. Daniel and Michelle were so sweet and genuine. They were engaging and thoughtful. The food was good and a new pasta experience. The front of the restaurant was very nice and a little darker in the back but being by the windows was an incredible experience. Overall despite anything else this was a great first time impression and experience.

We noticed the pasta board had increased by $15…and a new policy on $20 per person is you cancel reservation within TWO days. That type of policy should indicate an exclusive and excellent experience. The 22% service charge should = 22% service and it did not. Forgot drinks for 2 members of the group and when they came, they were wrong. Lax on water service and really seemed like server didn’t want to be there. We think it’s fun to bring friends here but might be taking a break.

They were out of two of their entrees, which wasvery frustrating. Especially since they have a very limited menu. Service was slow. They automatically include a 22% service charge,but still ask for a tip.

Overall it was convenient for pre-event dinner. But they need to work on a few things: the tables are way too small for their menu offerings. The mini pasta flight board hangs off the sides of the table, and there is literally no room for anything else - you are constantly shuffling and worried that something is going to fall off. The server was completely oblivious to our struggle. It’s just impossible to have an enjoyable meal - they need to increase the table size or decrease the size of the serving dishes. And ditch the candle - it was constantly in the way. Also their mini flight is too big - they should reduce the portions in a restaurant that probably 90% people headed to Climate Pledge who can’t take away leftovers.

Pasta flight was amazing! Well portioned too! Only wish was that the ambiance was more romantic - it was fairly casual which we weren’t expecting. Would absolutely eat here again!

I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday at Messina. The food was delicious! Loved the Pasta Platter Sampler and the Osso Buco was tender and deli!!!! But best of all was the service from Messina's Restaurant Manager K, who embodied the hospitality of the Italian culture in her warmth smile she welcomed us and made us feel among family during our whole dinner experience. The complimentary dessert of Tiramisú and Afogado were a delicious way to wrap our experience with a sip of the house Li moncello. We will definitely return soon. Highly recomend it!!!!! Veronica

We enjoyed everything we ate. My husband had the lasagna, I had the pesto pasta, and our sons had the ossobuco. We all had leftovers to take home. We were there during happy hour so the garlic bread and fried Brussels sprouts (also very delicious) were on the happy hour menu.

Either Open Table or Messina are responsible to publish in the Open Table app that there is a mandatory service charge of 22%! It is noted in the restaurant menu, but it was too late to look for another place once we were already there. Messina says is to increase the personnel’s wages, then please list how much of the service charge you distribute to employees. Service charge is a hidden way to increase your prices. Food was appropriate, nothing extraordinary. Attention was good, but charging the prices that you do I was expecting a much better food quality. You expect dirty plates from appetizers to be removed from your table before you bring your entree. Waitress did not do that and we ate our main entree with several dirty plates on the table. I don’t recommend this place, don’t brag about how good you are to your employees with service charge! Improve your food quality, improve service to client, and then try charging more, and maybe you will do better.
