Located just west of downtown Naperville, Mesón Sabika has been serving the community since 1990. Built in 1847, the pristine four-acre estate and beautiful mansion welcome you before you reach the driveway. Whether you dine in one of the mansion’s eight dining rooms decorated in traditional Spanish décor, attend a wedding or corporate event in the pavilion, or sit out back on the patio, the cuisine of Spain and delicious drinks make for an unparalleled dining experience.
For a quiet, romantic dining experience we recommend a week night reservation.The small mansion rooms fill up on the weekends, making for a more lively dining experience.
Our dress code is "proper casual/casual dressy." Gentlemen, we respectfully ask that you cover up your arms (no tank tops). And ladies, we ask that the majority of your midriff is covered (no bandeaux’s). We ask that everyone remove their baseball hats when dining inside the mansion. Thank you!

I love all the wonderful dishes at this restaurant. Everything is so tasty. I love coming back in trying new things each time and it makes a wonderful Celebration Place. I think it's just wonderful that they give Naperville teachers a break on their bill too. We plan on continuing to come to this beautiful restaurant as long as we can.
We visit twice a year. We moved away a number of years ago, but my wife has kept her doctor here. This is the restaurant we go to each time. Good variety, casual atmosphere and service is always excellent. We usually eat tapas, sangria and try dessert if not too full. They have an excellent wine list as well as a full bar. We never feel rushed, but the staff is very attentive to your needs.
A varied menu with many tapas both hot and cold. Also several lunch items and desserts. Had exceptional service. Noticed everything and were quick to pour water and take away dirty dishes. Tender, marinated beef in many dishes and excellent salmon. Veggies, cheese and olives also very good. Abundant bread basket. Highly recommend!
My parents and I patroned here, and opinions are mixed. Per our server's recommendation we started with a flight of cold tapas. The Salmon Curado con Queso was richly complex in taste and texture, and I enjoyed the salmon and cheese. The Patatas con Aioli was indeed a delicious, garlic-heavy, savory salad, and quite enjoyable. Tostada con Centollo was mild, smooth, and decadently delicious. The Alcachofas Marinadas were dredged in vinaigrette and we had to drain it, but otherwise fine. Overall the cold tapas plates were quite enjoyable, but unfortunately our hot tapas plates were where opinions sharply differed. The Calamares a la Plancha wasn't fresh, the texture rubbery and strongly odorous; unanimously unappealing. The Datiles con Tocino was a good juxtaposition of sweet, salty, soft, chewy, crunchy, and strongly flavored. We enjoyed that plate. The Queso de Cabra's basil tomato sauce was smooth, and the strong goat cheese went well with the bread. Another plate we enjoyed. The Berenjena con Setas were a soggy, mushy disappointment, with an unpleasant fetid taste, one we unanimously did not enjoy. The Champinones Rellenos were watery and rubbery. The Bogavante al Horno was flavorful (and thankfully fresh), and it felt nice biting into a seasoned crispy potato slice to help offset all of the very strongly-flavored hot tapas. We drive by this place all the time so we know it's a beautiful venue for events or outdoor dining when the weather is nice. It was a weeknight evening, so it wasn't very packed, but there was a large private event occurring when we dined so that might've skewed the restaurant's normal capacity. Service was notably slower than other restaurants, but the point of tapas is to congregate with friends/family and socialize, so it wasn't -really- that big of a deal. Our dining time exceeded 2 hours. We would not return, nor could I recommend this just for the food alone. The interior is very charming, though!

The old home turned into a restaurant was beautiful, with each room set as a separate dining space. The dining area we were seated in was rather loud. Loud to the point conversation at the table was a bit difficult. Our server was diffult to hear and understand. With that all said, the food was absolutely amazing.
The food was amazing. Everyone in our group raved about the wide range of choices from standard brunch fare to amazing, unusual dishes. Even the deserts were out of this world. A note of caution, though. Some of the dining area is upstairs and there is no elevator. If anyone in your group cannot walk stairs, make sure you request first floor seating when making your reservation. Thankfully, they were still able to accommodate us.
Mason Sebika never disappoints!!... Have been here for special occasions, as well as dinners with friends. This was a first time for the Sunday Brunch. It was , of course, outstanding. The ambiance here is beautiful, and the service is A+. The menu is varied, and ALWAYS delicious. I've recommended Mason to many people, and they ALWAYS comeback impressed. I'm hoping that I'll be lucky enough to attend a wedding reception here in the future because the grounds and outdoor seating are BEAUTIFUL......
Food excellent except some things came out on the cool side, that said flavors wonderful! Wait staff was very good. We were seated up against the fireplace (not lit of course). It was very pretty but we had to combat fruit flies from the fresh flower arrangement on the mantle of the fireplace...there were quite a few crawling all over the case and they flew around us quite a bit as well. When the manager asked how everything was, I explained the issue and he didn’t seem impressed....that said we still love this place and will be back!
We were delighted with our tapas dinner here. Our server was very friendly and attentive; unfortunately, he dropped some food on my coat, but was immediately apologetic and sent the manager to give me instructions for sending Meson Sabika my dry cleaning bill to them. We ordered a few tapas to start and later added more. we loved the patates Alioli, a deliciously garlicky potato salad. The cold shrimp with three sauces is yummy, and the shrimp very fresh. One dipping sauce is aioli, and another is a brandied tomato sauce which is my favorite. We also had a ground beef empanada that was very good. Later we had a lovely salad which included hearts of palm, asparagus, and strips of cheese with a vinaigrette dressing. And we loved the bacon wrapped dates, themselves a sweet dessert.
While I'm a "frequent flyer" at Meson Sabika, this is the first time I tried their brunch. Come VERY hungry - there are just so many dishes and they all look delectable. I cannot imagine how anyone has room to also order one of the many choices of additional items from the kitchen. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. it is a noisy restaurant, though, so be prepared!
