Located just west of downtown Naperville, Mesón Sabika has been serving the community since 1990. Built in 1847, the pristine four-acre estate and beautiful mansion welcome you before you reach the driveway. Whether you dine in one of the mansion’s eight dining rooms decorated in traditional Spanish décor, attend a wedding or corporate event in the pavilion, or sit out back on the patio, the cuisine of Spain and delicious drinks make for an unparalleled dining experience.
For a quiet, romantic dining experience we recommend a week night reservation. The small mansion rooms fill up on the weekends, making for a more lively dining experience.
Our dress code is "proper casual/casual dressy." Gentlemen, we respectfully ask that you cover up your arms (no tank tops). And ladies, we ask that the majority of your midriff is covered (no bandeaux’s). We ask that everyone remove their baseball hats when dining inside the mansion. Thank you!

Meson Sabika Ratings and Reviews
Our server was very good and clearly loves his job. It was way too noisy and loud. People that were sitting at the table next to us seemed unaware of other people around. It was my birthday but I didn’t want to stay for desert because of the loud crowd.
My Son and I had Sunday Brunch. Food presentation, flavour and options too many to number!
Neither of us drink alcohol so I woukd have liked maybe a comped dessert to split.
But honestly we had an amazing experience.
Had a great evening with my wife, son and daughter-n-law to enjoy tapas and the seasonal lights. Food was great and so was the service.
Meson Sabika is a great place to bring a few people so you can order many small plates and savor all the flavors. We had 4 appetizers and one seafood-packed paella for 4 people and it was enough food. I am probably (undoubtedly) a piglet, because I would have been happy to try more bites, but calmer heads prevailed. We had bacon-wrapped dates, mini lamb chops, stuffed mushrooms, and crab avocado toast, and all were outstanding. The paella had enough seafood for each of us have a large shrimp, clam, mussel, and several pieces of fish. Also very delicious. We had a great rioja, too, and the cost was less than $75/couple. GO HERE!
First time here. The waiter seemed impatient. Being our first time we had a lot of questions. Felt crammed in. Too many tables. No room to move. Over priced small portions. Not impressed. Will not return.
Highly recommended! Top notch in the “big three” - ambiance, service, and food. A very unique place that should not be missed.
This place never lets me down. The variety in tge menu is GREAT! We went around Christmas time and the decorations were very festive!
We went here for my wife's birthday and it was amazing as always. They are consistently providing outstanding meals and experiences. I can't say enough about this restaurant.
It's known for its unique facility - an old grand house in a great location. If you're a true 'foodie' then their Tapas quality and tastes will likely disappoint. If go for "good" food in a great ambiance then you won't be disappointed. This was my first time here but it seemed to be a go-to spot for locals who appreciated the charming ambiance, warm atmosphere, and varied menu. And, it seems to be popular with friends meeting after work. I'll go back when I'm in town.
Our first time here. Such a beautiful place. The service was excellent. Lov3 all the food choices. Definitely will return!
The food was very very good and the service was fantastic. The attention to detail was very much appreciated.
Our waiter sang Frank Sinatra to us for our birthdays. Very energetic. My sister had never dined there and she said she felt like royalty.
Amazing food and service. I love their variety in terms of both hot and cold tapas, paella and desserts. The queso de cabra and bacon wrapped dates are some of my all time favorite foods. It is also a lovely building with great decor.
This is an interesting place. It is like a mansion turned into a restaurant. Due to this the noise level can be high if you have a group that is loud. Also you don’t have as many servers around to attend to you. This would be a better place to go if you have time on your hands.
Great food and service plus a fun place to eat. There are so many Tapas for which to choose it's almost overwhelming. Everyone can find something they like.
Steve was an excellent waiter. Food amazing as always.
My husband & I love celebrating many different occasions at the Sunday brunches! Great food, wonderful assortment, good service.
Outstanding food and service. My favorite restaurant. Always enjoy the salmon, bacon wrapped dates and sangria. Can’t go wrong. Loved the birthday treat also..always makes it a special day. I come every year for my birthday and many other days throughout the year.
We decided to go to Meson Sabika for our anniversary and we loved it! The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and gave some great tips and the tapas plates came out in groups which was much preferred over getting them all at once. The food itself was delicious and definitely authentic Spanish. As it was our anniversary, our waitress even waived the dessert from our bill which was very nice. Overall the prices were very reasonable for the portions. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
Had such a special night with family. Fun for everyone to choose dishes and discuss what we all liked best. Even three teenagers got into it and became foodies for the night. Was a little loud but the whole room felt like a party and all sang Happy Birthday to someone at another table.
Meson Sabika is always an amazing evening. We have been dining here for years and have never been disappointed here in anything. They are always a wonderful setting and experience. Cannot recommend them or their other restaurant Tapas Valencia enough.
