For a quiet, romantic dining experience we recommend a week night reservation. The small mansion rooms fill up on the weekends, making for a more lively dining experience.
Our dress code is "proper casual/casual dressy." Gentlemen, we respectfully ask that you cover up your arms (no tank tops). And ladies, we ask that the majority of your midriff is covered (no bandeaux’s). We ask that everyone remove their baseball hats when dining inside the mansion.

The food is good but the service is the slowest I have ever seen! Reservation was at 7:00pm and sat down at 7:07 which was not bad! After that the time of placing order and receiving it kept getting slower! Took over an hour for
food which is crazy for tapas!
Amazing tapas food to share with friends. We loved the bacon wrapped dates and multiple salmon dishes and the garlic potato salad and the beef on a skewer and the Sangria. This is a favorite location for us and very sorry we missed the New Year's eve dinner - its also delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. Its lovely (weather permitting) to sit outside on the patio for supper and enjoy the potted geraniums and other lovely outdoor decorations. The desserts were equally amazing. The sauces are very creative and give a blend of flavors.
We love Meson Sabika! Everything we got was delicious, flavorful and fresh. The sangria is to die for. The BEST patio in the western suburbs by far. Highly recommended!
We always love going to Mason Sabika !!
The food wasn't bad, though the desserts were tasteless, cheap. The price for the brunch is reasonable for what you get, but it is nothing special.
This was the 1st time we came there for. Friends bday! We were pretty disappointed. We came later at around 1245. There was no OJ so drinks took FOREVER! Our service Patrick, was busy at first but was definitely very attentive and apologized many times! He was great! The buffet was not refilled at all, guess due to the brunch ending at 2pm and then there was NO dessert we ordered, they ran out of that also! I’d come back and due to the service, but was over priced and buffet not well kept to pay $36.00
Outside of the prime rib, the brunch seemed to be of sub-par quality. Weighing the quality against the price, I feel that there are more equitable options in the surrounding area that will provide better quality of food. To improve, temperature would be the easiest fix. Many off the hot dishes were cold, and many of the cold dishes were luke-warm. The waitstaff was excellent, friendly, and overall provided a welcoming dining experience.
The outdoor patio is one of the best in the western burbs! Pretty, twinkling string lights, lively crowd, occasional flamenco guitar player, delicious food & sangria.
We had a wonderful time for our 1st year anniversary. The wait wasn't long at all based on our reservation. We sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was great and I thought the meal was reasonably priced. We will be back.
Great food. Great ambiance. Arrived at 7:50 for 8pm reservation. Line was outside the door just to check in. No one came down line to see who did or didn’t have reservations. Finally made it to the hostess’s station at 8:15 (yes 25 minutes later). Told our table would be available in 15 minutes at 8:30. Finally seated at 9:10 (70 minutes after our reservation) Didn’t even offer to buy us a drink. It has never happened there before and I was very disappointed. Very expensive and frustrating Saturday night
Everything about our experience was great !! We were able to sit on the patio which added to how great the night was.
The restaurant has changed dramatically since we were there a few years back. We waited 1 hr 15 min with a reservation. We waited in a long line to check in. Felt like I was at fast food restaurant. There was no bread available at table - they ran out.
We were married there years ago and this experience was so disappointing. We have gone back after our wedding and had positive experiences. Not like this one.
Food was terrific.
Waiter service was good.
Problem was we had a reservation and still waited about 40 minutes before getting a table. We chose this restaurant because they took reservations. I took my 88 year old mother with me and we didn’t want to have to wait.
The reservation obviously didn’t mean anything.
They weren’t turning away people that arrived without reservations. Don’t accept reservations if you can’t honor them.
The service was very slow, took exceptionally long to get our food. Even that was ok, it was a busy night which we could understand and once seated at least we were comfortable. However to wait that long for the table when we had a reservation was unacceptable.
I would highly recommend Meson Sabika. We enjoyed the evening as we celebrated my wife’s birthday.
Great service, delicious food, and awesome ambiance. Will definitely be returning!
Patio is a great place to enjoy a beautiful evening. The place was packed, as well as a wedding going on . The food quality was not the best. The lamb and steak dishes were way over cooked yet the scallops were under done. Servers were in such a rush they didn’t stay long enough to listen to you such as we need knives , more ice , can we order more wine or another round of food. If it was my first time I may not return.
Romantic; beautiful patio! Waiter was great!
Meson Sabika is our favorite place. Always great. A beautiful setting.
Excellent as always.
Awesome .., Great ambience.., friendly staff.., beautiful outdoor seating .., tasty food.., I highly recommend this restaurant
The service lacking as we had to repeated ask or remind for couple things requested. Seating was uncomfortable.
Food was excellent. However, we were very disappointed that the waitress could not give us separate check for two separate parties when we requested her to do so. Not everyone drinks the same amount of food and drinks. Next time we will choose a restaurant that does that.
Excellent quality. Well presented. Great choice. It’s my second time here and I was not disappointed.
This was our second time back and the food was even better than last time. I am vegan and really was happy with all the vegan choices as well as how well the menu was labeled. We sat in the outdoor patio. The ambience of this place is the best and they even had heat lamps for extra comfort.
Server and food were great!
Ambiance was great. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Service was good initially. We just had a hard time finding our waiter when we were ready to pay. As always, The food was delicious. The waiter was helpful in giving both food & sangria suggestions. Please note, red sangria is way better than the white.
College roommates reuniting! Best food and fun ever! And thank you, thank you, thank you to Meson Sabika for honoring teachers!
When out-of-town guests come to Naperville, Meson Sabika is high on our list of 'must do's'. It is a total experience and the food has always been great
On a beautiful evening, there is no better place to eat and drink than Meson Sabika’s patio!
The outdoor seating is relaxing and beautiful. We had a party of five, so the round table we were seated at allowed us to talk and be heard by everyone at the table. The food was good as usual. My favorites were curry chicken, dates wrapped in bacon, and the mushroom caps. Our server, however, was rude to us and spoiled the evening. He didn’t greet us, was impatient with members of the group who had not been there before, and was rude when I asked a question about a drink. When it came time to give us the check, he had someone else bring it to us. He never thanked us for coming and never came back for the payment.
Charming ambiance & inspired cooking. Surprising variety of dishes and impeccable service. 10/10 would recommend.
Outstanding brunch - exceptional menu. Rainy day so outdoor seating not available. Indoor seating tight and have to maneuver through tables and chairs. A wonderful dining experience overall.
Best Sunday brunch I've ever experienced. Highly recommended.
The food was ok, but not spectacular. Service was spotty.
Our server was so professional and took the time to ensure we had a good experience. The food was delicious! Can’t wait to return!
We have not been to Meson Sabika for years and this was our first re-visit. It made us upset that we've been missing it for all these years. We're definitely going to come back to sit on the patio and enjoy some great tapas and Spanish wines.
Absolutely loved our dinner! The service was outstanding. Never felt rushed despite how busy it was. The outdoor patio has such a great atmosphere. And the food was wonderful! Thank you.
My wife and I ate at Meson Sabika on a Saturday evening. The place gets really busy on weekends, so we were very glad we made a reservation.
Overall, we found the restaurant okay. We weren't overly impressed, but it wasn't the worst dining experience we'd had, either. There were some good and bad aspects to our time, so I'll try to detail those as best as I can:
-The server (Steve) was excellent and very knowledgeable. He was quite personable and took the time to explain the menu items to us whenever we had questions.
-I am not a big fan of creme brulee, but both my wife and I agreed that it was likely the best creme brulee either of us had ever had.
-My wife really enjoyed the prickly pear sangria, commenting it was very flavorful.
-We were seated in a room with two large parties, next to a room with a very large bridal party. It was very noisy and quite difficult for us to have a conversation without yelling.
-Both my wife and I had the paella, which was just okay. Maybe we're just not used to the flavor, but it seemed rather bland to us.
-The tapas are quite small for the price. Two tostadas with crab meat were $10.95, for example. My wife and I are not big people, but we tend to eat big when we go out, so small plates were really not our thing.
-By the time we had finished, we had spent over $100 for just the two of us. So, this is definitely not the place to go if you're on a budget.
Overall, we felt that, while there was nothing overwhelmingly bad about the food, due to the prices, we expected to be wowed, and we weren't. It may not have helped that our friends built the place up so much before we went, either.
Based on our personal tastes, I don't think my wife and I would return, but, for those who would prefer more small plate dining and to try different things without getting stuffed, this would be a great place to do so.
Meson Sabika has become our go to spot for a special evening and we live two hours away. Each visit we are blown away by the food, drinks, service, and ambiance. We absolutely love this place!
