For a quiet, romantic dining experience we recommend a week night reservation. The small mansion rooms fill up on the weekends, making for a more lively dining experience.
Our dress code is "proper casual/casual dressy." Gentlemen, we respectfully ask that you cover up your arms (no tank tops). And ladies, we ask that the majority of your midriff is covered (no bandeaux’s). We ask that everyone remove their baseball hats when dining inside the mansion.

Perfect place for a date! Food was delicious!
Met a friend in town and had a great time, wonderful food and great service!
The atmosphere is lively the food is fun and quite good, and the sangria was great. Our server Diego was very helpful with the menu and wine, attentive and very pleasant. Great tapas option in the suburbs, go with a group and try everything.
Hadn’t been to Meson in years. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back very soon!
We love going to Meson Sabika to enjoy Tapas with friends! The dishes were amazing and the staff was attentive. The only distraction that night was the noise level in the upstairs room where we were dining. It was extremely loud, to the point where we felt we had to yell across the table to be heard.
We always enjoy the food and the service at Mason Sabika
Beautiful setting in an old mansion. Dined in one of the first floor rooms. A little noise challenged just due to the nature of the room but manageable. Might want to ask for quietest room if you had more than 4 people as it could be conversation challenged.
But it was a beautiful room and the food and service were excellent. Our server was very attentive and quickly explained the menu. There have to be 40 choices across the tapas menu. She suggested 2-3 items per person and that was just right. We did 7 for 3 of us.
Flank steak with blue cheese, onions and potatoes was really full of flavor. Steak had great caramelized char that stood up well to the blue cheese sauce. The potatoes were roasted and sliced. They were at the bottom of the dish and were bathed in the sauce and juice from the steak.
Lamb, beef, and veal meatballs came in a flavorful sauce and were fall apart tender.
Ham Iberico was deeply flavorful. Nice presentation with toast points, a fresh tomato sauce, and olive oil for drizzling
Roasted goat cheese in tomato sauce is a tapas classic and was executed perfectly.
All the tapas were delicious and delivered in pairs at a comfortable pace. Our server helped with selecting a fine bottle of Spanish wine.
Great experience. We will be back.
Best tapas in Chicago area. Very innovative yet authentic Spanish cuisine.
Great experience !
Our son was accepted into medical school
It was good
Been many’s and will continue to go! One of our favorite restaurant in all of Chicago
This was new experience for us everything
Was fabulous the food and the service was excellent I really recommend
Our favorite restaurant. We visit about 3 times per year. The food is the best you can get in this area. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly.
We love dining here! The bacon wrapped dates, garlic potato salad, shrimp with lemon butter, and skirt steak with Cabrales blue cheese are among our favorites!
We had a nice meal, and the setting and our waitress added to the enjoyable evening. Some of the tapas are prepared better than others. Overall, enjoyable.
The food, wine, service and atmosphere were all excellent!
Absolutely delicious as always. Great white chocolate mousse and best margarita hands down.
Had a wonderful dinner outside on the patio under a heater. Food was delicious. Oscar, our server, was excellent, and had plenty of help with the extra staff.
This is definitely "the place to go" for small plates tapas.
Food was good. Too bad they apparently switched up their Sangria to using grape juice instead of a real Sangria recipe
The food and service was fantastic. We celebrated our anniversary there tonight and this is now our new favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!
I love going to the brunch at Meson Sabika. However I would like to see more chicken options without any pork on it in their menu. Other than that great place to celebrate special occasions.
Still the best restaurant in IL (IMO). The food and service are always great and the atmosphere never disappoints.
We have been visiting Meson Sabika for over 15 years. It consistently satisfies our needs time and time again. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. The menu continues to tantalize our tastebuds. Overall a great experience!
Always a nice place to take out of town friends. Not a chain restaurant and one of the gems of Naperville.
The setting is very unique, really nice for a special occasion. Food and drinks were good. The service was amazing, we got complimentary glasses of champagne at the end of our anniversary date. Highly recommend!
Good food, good drinks, good services and good atmosphere. There were little flys flying around the dining room. The coffee didn’t taste right.
A lovely visit! The food was delicious, the servers very attentive and accommodating. We unfortunately did not save room for dessert
Excellent service from everyone and plenty of small plate options to choose. Will definitely go back to dine again..
A restaurant with great food and a wonderful heart. We went the night Mesón Sabika was contributing 100% of sales to the Red Cross for hurricane Dorian relief. The food was excellent and the fact that it was helping other people made it taste even better. Will definitely be going back to this restaurant for a long time.
As always, the food and service were outstanding. This particular evening was a fundraiser for the Bahama hurricane victims, and the owner, Hossein Jamali is donating 100% of sales (not profits, but sales) to the cause. Fun evening with friends, great cause, and inspirational generosity.
Meson Sabika is a fabulous restaurant! The food is ALWAYS outstanding! Our waiter wasn't very personable, but we realize it was a busy night. We sat outside, and it was very pleasant. We are repeat customers, and will go back often!
A wonderful dining experience! This is one of our favorite places. You are treated like a honored guest and member of the family. Love this place.
The food is always fabulous and consistent. The service is attentive and courteous. This restaurant has been here for more than 20 years and is still busy all the time. No wonder, it's always amazing!!
I admire a restaurant that not only serves a fantastic Dinner but donates 100% of the proceeds to the AMERICAN RED CROSS for help in the BAHAMAS. As usual we had a GREAT meal and the vibe of the crowd was electrifying, as many people dug into there own pockets to help out the Hurricane Victims. What a great evening with a bunch of good friends!
The Meson Sabika is more expensive than the restaurants we usually go to, but they are very charitable for disaster victims. That is why we went. It was a special treat! I was disappointed that we were told that all the red wines are very dry. It would be nice to have something in between.
this is the first time I have ever had less than excellent service at Meson Sabika. The waiter didn't explain what tapas were even though 2/3 of our party were new to the experience. They food was excellent as usual!
