Please note: the restaurant is located in protected nature preserve at nearby Nacascolo beach, which requires a complimentary shuttle ride from the hotel lobby. Between 5:00 – 6:00 pm, you will have a chance to ride through the lush mangroves with frequent wildlife sightings. After 6:00 pm, the shuttle drives directly through the golf course path to the restaurant. Let this special place—and the flavors—enchant you.

Manager was great. Staff was superb. Food was excellent. Drinks not over sweet. Food prepared with right amount of spice. Well balanced.

The restaurant and beach area are beautiful and our food was great. The service was quite slow. Took over 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We were not staying at the Andaz and were not informed when booking that the restaurant is not on site. When we arrived (luckily early) we were informed that we would have to take a shuttle van to a nature center then wait for a golf cart to take us to the restaurant. While the adventure and scenery were pretty cool, it’s was more then we had bargained for just for lunch. Just the transportation to and from Meso took about 20-30 minutes each way.

This place is located 15min shuttle drive out of the resort but is worth the Indiana Jones thrill drive then golf cart the remainder of the way. We had the lamb meatball/spanakopita (egg rolls) appetizers then Osso buco/fresh chicken pasta/kids Mac-n-cheese/kids chicken finger with fries. All were delicious but Mac-n-cheese was standard. I wish the osso buco had the bone with the bone marrow with it but was still good.

This beach club location and restaurant are wonderful. I recommend arriving mid morning, enjoying all the pool and beach fun and having lunch. A perfect Costa Rica day. Cocktails were delicious and our party of 5 all enjoyed their meals. One was a little charred/over cooked but still edible.

Food was excellent. The service was amazing. Waitress Jennifer was incredible and friendly. Totally recommended for a nice afternoon lunch. If you are not staying at the Andaz Hotel, make sure you make a reservation via Opentable. Additionally, this restaurant is not in the main hotel building. Call for instructions as to how to get there. Ambience was very relaxing.
