Mesero - Victory Park
I was deeply impressed! I'd passed this restaurant many times in my neighborhood, and I had never been. I decided however to change that by making a reservation. I was blown away by the superb courtesy of the host, waitress and management as well with the ambiance and margaritas. The margarita recommended to me was the LA PERFECCIÓN, and it is extremely soothing, tasty and addicting!!! The pollo tacos are pretty good. The only area of opportunity with the food would be to include a bit more acid within the meat and into the tacos to give it that extra pop. I will be returning to this restaurant for sure.
We love Mesero. Once sat, everything was fine, but we had a reservation and had to wait almost 30 minutes before they finally sat us at a big table that had been empty the whole time we waited. The point of a reservation is not waiting. We were frustrated because we were going to the Mavs game and were late because of this situation.
It was a pleasant experience, but the music was so loud and it was so loud in general and couldn’t hear each other even at a booth in the back.
Great customer service. Food is very good. Great place to eat before an event.
We've eaten at a couple Mesero locations around Dallas and the food has always been good, but not great or outstanding and this time was no different - the food was certainly good once again, but I always seem to want/expect it to be better - it was a great place to grab a quick bite before the Dallas Stars game and with the nice weather, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoor dining experience - it's certainly a place that we'll visit again before a concert or game at the AAC - probably more for drinks than food, but who knows...
Mesero is always fabulous. Great food, service and atmosphere. We visit almost once a week.
Great food, service and swirl margaritas.
Noise level in this restaurant is way beyond reasonable. I found myself having to shout at my guest in order to be heard. Lots of hard surfaces make this restaurant way too noisy. If you're planning on having a meal and good conversation this restaurant is not a good choice. Portions (especially sides) are way small making value for money spent LOW. I would not choose to recommend this restaurant to others.
Great food, value and location. Will definitely be back.
One of my "Go To" restaurants... never disappoints.
All of the locations are typically noisy but the Victory Park location is extremely noisy and I probably won’t go back. It’s almost impossible to carry on a conversation with those at the table.
Service was great. Food was delicious.
Food was fine. Salsa at start was best of meal. Server did great. No need to go back for the price.
Rico our waiter was exceptional. Such a fun time and the food was great.
Have never had a bad meal here at Victory Park. The food is awesome and all of the staff offer superb service.
Our server was great but my friend and I both ordered the chilaquiles and we both found them to be disgusting. The sauce ruined them and the cubed chicken seemed artificial. I ended up being sick from partially eating the chilaquiles. They would be better off following the traditional recipe and using only salsa de tomatillo instead of the gross creamy sauce.
Loved it, perfect fit for what we were looking for.
Very attentive staff! Service was quick, food was great. Definitely be going back!
Great environment with good service. Drinks were worth the price and the food came quickly. I’ll be back again.
It was a nice restaurant but it was a bit pricey for what you got food-wise. Portions seemed kinda small.
We love this place. We eat here about once a week. The drinks are delicious and the food is awesome. The staff recognize us and always take good care of us.
What a great restaurant and we loved the service
Such good drinks and food. Their salsa and chips are the best!
Ate here with girlfriends prior to a concert at AAC and it was perfect for the occasion. Casual but cool vibe with great drinks and awesome food. Will be back for sure!
Awesome food and great drink menu! Highly recommend.
The enchiladas were excellent, but this was by far the loudest restaurant I’ve ever visited. It was a full house being a concert night at the AAC. My wife and I could not hear each other across the table. By the time we finished eating, it was completely unbearable to the point we were both becoming ill. Service also left a lot to be desired. At one point, plates that were still in use were snatched from in front of us for no apparent reason. Again, great food, but I wouldn’t consider returning during peak hours again due to the noise.
Had a 630 reservation and didn’t get seated until after 7. Slow food service. Restaurant was underprepared. They did comp the meals but overall disappointing.
Everything was perfect. From the service to the execution of each service. Well done.
Came in for apps and drinks. We had their flautitas, they were very good, and we had the ceviche which was also good but didn’t feel it was worth the value. It had more avocado and tomatoes than shrimp. Drinks were delicious and worth the value (strong).
We’ve yet to try any of their entrees but will be returning soon, Mesero is becoming one of our favorite places for drinks and apps.
The food was delicious, and we loved the queso. We were disappointed that our reservation was for 6:30 p.m., but we weren't seated until almost 7 p.m. We understand there was a higher number of guests due to the John Mayer concert, but that is why we made our reservation for when we did. It appeared a reservation didn't matter, and guests were seated by order of arrival time regardless of reservation.
Service and food were ok. The noise level is unacceptable. We literally had to put our conversation on hold until we left.
Great place to eat before hitting AAC up for concert
The food was very good but a little more expensive than I was expecting. The noise level was moderately high so we had to talk pretty loud to hear each other. Overall it was good and we would go back.
Was great as always! Had a great time, servers were so sweet, drinks were fab and food was amazing!
Wonderful food and excellent service! It was very loud but not a problem. Best ceviche I’ve ever had!!!
I went for my anniversary. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I would go again.
The drinks were great. The Ceviche was amazing. The tacos were okay and the arugula/beet and pear salad was terrible. Perhaps I should have known not to order a salad like this at a Mexican restaurant but the description sounded delicious and enticing but the actual salad left much to be desired. It was a giant pile of Arugula with barely any dressing and tiny slivers of uncooked beets and only 2 slivers of pears. I barely had two bites and felt that the waiter should have noticed that and offered to do something. Oh well. The experience wasn’t terrible because the ceviche was absolutely delicious but I would say this overall experience was just so-so.
Our group of four enjoyed dinner at Mesero on a Wednesday night. We like the Victory Park area and we have dined at other Mesero concepts in the past. The restaurant space is attractive, the hostess was friendly, the service was fast and efficient, and the food was excellent. Thumbs up for Mesero!
Delicious, excellent service, atmosphere was wonderful and not too loud
Great service and fantastic food!
