Just passing through and came across Mesero! Erik-the manager was great and super helpful! Loved the menu, food and drinks!

We enjoyed our first visit, even though it was extremely loud and hot in there. After visiting a second time last night, we probably will not return for a while. The service was abysmal. Again, the restaurant was very crowded, loud, chaotic, and hot. It is a pretty restaurant in an interesting location, but with so much competition out there they will definitely need to up their game!

From the atmosphere to the food and drinks, everything was amazing for our girl's nite out! Fantastic service and the bacon wrapped shrimp are delicious 😋

Food was cold and many items came out wrong. Server may have been new. Music was great but a bit loud.

Our server was Juan and he was fantastic. Juan provided the best service we’ve had in OKC. We were very disappointed with the change in the patio. We love to dine outside but will probably forego this at Mesero since most of the tables were moved from the front to the side of the restaurant. Overall this restaurant is a great place to dine. If you go, ask for Juan. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent food! Nice flavor profiles and the enchiladas were fantastic! Fun atmosphere and in a nice new area! Definitely will visit again!

Nice ambience, lots of amenities the food very average in my opinion. And I think that would’ve probably been the consensus at the table, possibly to exceptions where they Would have rated them higher.

So looking forward to Mesero, but so disappointed. The service was sub par as our server (very sweet, young gal with a great smile) didn’t tend to our table. We had to get up and ask for drink/water refills and for plates to be cleared several times. The wait staff stood in a corner and watched the servers and never helped clear tables until patrons asked them to. There was a language barrier and thus, couldn’t understand requests. It was hard to communicate. The price of the food is quite high (go to Barrio’s! It’s better overall and you get more bang for your buck!) Our server refilled my tea without ice and it was warm. I had to get up and walk to the bar for a new glass. The food was just okay. Very small portions for a very high price. As I said in parentheses, Barrio’s in midtown is far better. Our dinner took twice as long as it should have since our service was quite bad. At the end of our dinner, our server disappeared for about 25 minutes until we asked one of the helpers to find her. We won’t return. Very sad to say that since I was hoping it would be a great establishment. I cannot see it remaining in business considering all the other amazing Mexican restaurants OKC has to offer. Bummed about Mesero! :(
