Most of our food was good, but my husband’s steak was tough. It’s pretty noisy so hard to hear each other. It was Saturday night and very crowded.
Our table was ready at reservation time even though very busy. Could not hear server for noise - this place is LOUD so sit outside if you want to hear anything! Server was attentive and efficient; food was good although served barely warm. We would go back and would recommend.
It was great as always! Staff is amazing. Food is really good I’ll Beyonce is great! Always our go to place for a special evening.
Thanksgiving week family reunion
Family get together. Chuy our server was great!
Mesero’s never disappoints. Our favorite restaurant. Great food and cocktails!
Last minute night out with friends!!! All staff at restaurant were AMAZING….
With the exception of the hostess who was rather prickly, and somewhat abrasive, was a good Dining experience.
Perhaps the person Who makes the initial contact with the client should be pleasant and personable.
Unfiltered: the hostess was as rude as a dam royal b.
Mesero’s food and service are always excellent! This is one of my favorite places to eat out! I love their spicy guac, all of their drinks, and the mole enchiladas. And their cinco leches cake is the best cake ever!
food was bad, service was terrible (our waiters were not friendly and kept forgetting the things we asked for; they also took forever to seat us despite the fact that we had a reservation). it was so loud and the staff was too crazy. they kept yelling and we couldnt hear the people at our own table talk and kept dropping kitchenware. the worst thing was that they were not personable or even nice to us which is the bare minimum. i likely will not recommend the place to anyone.
We really enjoyed celebrating a special anniversary there, the food and service was excellent! It was very loud because it was full of TCU students but they were fun to watch, just no holding on a conversation.
Food was great as always! Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was clean. Women’s restroom stall door knob broken, privacy needed.
We had a party of 11 and were accommodated with no problems. Our waiter was quick, efficient, and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
The salsa and cheese dip served with chips could be greatly improved. The chips are tasty and our lunches were all good. There were 4 people at lunch on Saturday. We ate around 1:00 p.m. The margaritas were very good.
Generally a good food at a good price. Service seemed erratic and slow. Background music was too loud, causing everyone at the restaurant to shout to be heard. Finally, bathroom stall in men's did not flush - needs to be fixed right away (and probably will be). Bathroom cleaning needs more attention.
Always a wonderful experience at Mesero. It’s one of our go-tos when we are entertaining out of town guests and never disappoints. White queso and cinco leches cake are must-orders, and margaritas are strong and delicious — if you’re not in the mood for margaritas, give the sangria a try. Be sure to order a side of mole sauce for the chips. Ambiance is lively, and seating in the bar area can get loud on weekends.
Wayyyy to loud with all the sorority girls and their dates. Heard they do not check IDs and it was so obvious. Drunk girls lined up in the restroom. Tried to have a long awaited girls get together and it was not enjoyable. The only saving grace: our young server was a gentleman and food was good.
Kids at HOCO so parents got together for dinner.
Wife’s birthday. Sat us outside and lit heaters on the porch but didn’t have enough propane for ours. Took forever for food and drinks. Fajitas were below average. Not real fajita meat, not grilled, only fajitas that are worse in Fort Worth is Joe T’s. Go to Pappasitas or Uncle Julios.
My first experience at Masero was so amazing I wanted to go back the next week with friends. At this visit, my experience was much different. Upon arrival we were sat in the middle of the restaurant, after ordering drinks and an appetizer, the manager came over to us and asked us to move to a different table because a party of 16 called and wanted a reservation. Mind you, I made this reservation days in advance. We understood, said it wasn’t a problem and moved to a booth in the back. The manager said he would give us a complimentary drink or dessert for the troubles.
When I received my drink I ordered, there was a bug in it. I told our then waiter and he apologized. When we moved to the new table, a different waitress brought me a new drink. We started eating our appetizer and were brought a new salsa flight by the waitress. I scooped a chip and pulled out a hair from the salsa, the waitress saw, apologized, and brought me a new salsa.
The food was really good, and I appreciated the attempts to make things right. Ultimately My drink and queso were comped on my bill. We never saw the manager again after we moved tables, I’m not even sure if he was aware of the bug or the hair but it would’ve been nice to have spoken to him about that. We also didn’t receive the complimentary drink or dessert for moving tables (which is fine, we were full anyways).
Overall: good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff, just a poor experience.
Great for a birthday dinner!
Excellent service and food was outstanding. Has a wide variety of options for food and the atomosphere and waitstaff were great.
Hosts were very friendly
Erma was very attentive. It was our 1st time to meet her. Alfonso/Fonzy is AMAZING. He’s definitely a asset to Mersero. He goes above & beyond for his staff, always helping & delivering food as well as being VERY attentive to his dining guest. We will definitely be regulars again, now that Fonzy is there.
The service and food was excellent. The staff went out of their way during a busy time to ensure we got a patio table for our anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious, as we’ve come to expect of Mesero.
Maya is SUCH a sweetheart. I called because I was running late, and she quelled my concerns with kindness. Upon arriving, she greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Our server was amazing. Our conversation revealed she is a former student at our school and my colleague is her former teacher. My colleagues had never been to Mesero, and they raved about their experience. I want to thank the staff for being so kind and positive. We have already planned our next visit!
We had an awesome time and Thelma was great.
The best Carnitas I have ever had in my life! Our other dish was also amazing! I loved every part of our dinner was just amazing.
Delicious food. Thankful to be seated outside because inside was unbearably loud. Outside music level was also high but we had a chance for conversation. Service was close but not quite- appetizer arrived after entree which bugs me. Food prices were reasonable, drinks a smidge on the high side but also tasty. Will go back again but will try to find a quieter time.
Server was very pleasant and kind. Big parties near us but she attentive and food was quick.
Always a treat to dine at Mesero. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Fun, happy spot!
Excellent as always! Staff is great!
Enchiladas are amazing! Ceviche is fantastic!
Food was great as usual. Very fresh and creative. Restaurant was clean and our server Vanessa did an outstanding job.
Always a great place to eat and definitely a great place to go for a date!
We apreciate the wonderful service and that they accomodated our large group on a very busy night.
TCU Parents’ Weekend.
Fresh tasting, innovative, non-traditional are all adjectives I’d use for Mesero. A super experience and can’t wait to go back. Service was spot-on.
Good all around. But service took forever, food was not the best
Great food and great service! Would definitely go back.
