Everyone was so nice and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Great service.
The food here is amazing! I highly recommend the Queso Fundito. Service is very good as well. The owner was walking around and very involved, making sure we were happy. Prices are a little high but it felt worth it.
Definitely will return. Absolutely amazing
From the Margarita to the coffee and all the other delicacies in between “WOW!!! my tastebuds were YUMMMMMM!!!!
Octopus appetizer was wonderful, as was the tuna special. The scallops themselves were very good and cooked perfectly, but wasn’t crazy about the preparation. Acorn squash needed salt, and green beans were very garlicky
The service of Andra was phenomenal, but the food was terribly overpriced; $9 for a small bowl of Mexican style corn is rediculous. They pour a good drink, but that, too, was priced too high. And the place was extremely and uncomfortably noisy; there was a business group of about 15 people all standing right behind our table having drinks and hors dourves, and they certainly did not use their inside voices.
Awesome restaurant. Delicious food all around... Unique flavors and beautifully plated. Margaritas fantastic!
Disappointing after reading all the positive reviews. Why? Over-priced for the mediocre quality. The restaurant tried too hard to make classic Mexican dishes, untraditional. Even the most basic offering like guacamole, was tasteless and bland. I will not go back to this restaurant.
Great place, handled our large group very well. We will bring clients here again!
Very good food...more options other than Mexican! A bit pricey!
Love the food. Wish they would do a flan for dessert!
we love the restaurant and recommend it to anyone who wants a fresh take on "Mexican" food.
We have NEVER been disappointed with the food. The staff are all wonderful also!
Love the food here but it was so noisy that we were shouting to hear one another
Service was great from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted with a smile. We had reservations for 4 people 2 of which were running 15 minutes late and they told us no problem. We sat at the bar had a yummy cocktail served by the very nice bartender. My only complaint was the noise level. Not a big deal for me but someone in our party made note of it and they were right.
Excellent food, great presentation and wow service!
The food is good but expensive. This is in a strip mall and the ambiance is not great given the prices. The restaurant was extremely loud on the Friday night which we went. Two of us in our group had tacos and the portion was nice size but difficult to eat because the tortilla wrap was too small for the portion of food on it. They need to provide a larger tortilla so you can eat it without a fork.
The restaurant was pleasant, the server was attentive, and the food was good. My two complaints would be that the prices seemed high for what we got and the table was very small.
Great food and great staff
Their guacamole platter is absolutely the best I’ve had....Also , loved the teriyaki chicken lettuce wraps aka tacos
We had a wonderful dinner , the service and atmosphere was amazing. We brought a friend who has never dined with you before and she loved it . The drinks were top notch !!!
This is a great Mexican fusion restaurant. The sauce on the salmon is delicious. Everything we have tried has been yummy.
Great food and amazing drinks!
Nice food, good service, friendly staff
Service was great . The food is tasty, but some of the sides were a little lackluster.
The Salmon entree and the guacamole appetizer is a must. We had the Salmon medium rare and it was one of the best we have had. Mojitos are really good too.
I think that the ownership might have changed as it was just ok for brunch and quite expensive.
I liked it about a year ago, but my recent experience was meh.
I really like the food here, and the servers are great. But it’s overpriced relative to what you get and we also felt rushed, for example dinner coming out on top of appetizers. Worth a visit but not worth a regular stop for dinner.
Great from start to finish octopus appetizer was perfect as well as salmon and
To sum up our impressions: expensive, small portions, bland food. $76 for 4 bland baby tacos, a dry chicken breast, and a glass of wine.
Nothing special. For the price which I think a bit too much and the food is ok. Can’t even say that it is good. Just ok.
Just a great place!
The waitress spill some food on my back I asked her is there anything on my back she said no when I walked out at the end of the night my friend saw my back that I had Waka Moly all over my back.
Thanks but no thanks . This is after we left he a 20% top.
Mesa Urbana is amazing! Some of the freshest ingredients I have ever had, the portions were great and the tastes were spectacular! Highly recommend to everyone!!!
Had a great dinner at Mesa Urbana. My husband and I always eat at the bar but we were meeting our son and daughter-in-law so we sat at a table. Our server Nicole (I think) was darling and very attentive.
I always do the same thing; mussels and calamari. I had some calamari and guacamole (delish) and split the risotto crusted halibut which was yummy. So glad to have tried something new.
My husband had the Carne Asada and my son the Salmon. Both said they were delicious. Of course had a margarita or two.
We really enjoy the restaurant. Staff is friendly and always a good vibe!
Great food, uniquely prepared and good service, we’ve been here multiple times and have been happy each time.
Delightful manager. Took efforts in seating us prior to a late couple arrival. Great drinks with fresh fruit- lots of options. Appetizers very good- mussels were delicious! Great flavors in other options. Dinners also very good, great fish tacos. Choc lava cake wonderful. Located in a strip mall, parking a bit tricky- however more spaces in lot to north.
We have been to Mesa Urbano on many ocassions. They are very courteous and committed to insuring an excellent dining experience. Love this place! Had a Halibut dish with a tomato based sauce and fried risotto that was delicious.
Brought a somewhat picky friend to Mesa Urbana & she loved it! The staff is always warm & welcoming and it's obvious they have a strong desire to provide a great customer experience. Great mojitos. Delicious appetizers. My friend loved the salmon. I had the camarones tropical which was good but I would have liked a little more spice. But hey, that's just me... Overall, always a great time at MU!
Always excellent. Extremely high quality ingredients for a family/neighborhood Mexican restaurant.
