Service was extremely slow... it is not usually line that.
I ordered the pasta that said it was linguine and it was penne. No regular ice tea, only flavored. Did not care for my martini, but having Camus by the glass is a plus! Service was slow. Food was ok, but not spectacular.
Terrible service!!! Hostess rudely indicated, in front of customers, that they could not honor our reservation even though there were plenty of seats available in the outside area we requested. Luckily someone with actual hustle and customer service skills accommodated us.
Ribeye was gristly. Martini was awful, despite my specific request that it be extra dry (also, wasn't prepared with blue cheese olives, as advertised). Overpriced. Will not be returning. Ever.
Server required training.
We've always loved the food here, but this time both of our meals were way too salty. This must be a new chef or cook staff.
I would recommend the restaurant but, unless you love having a salt shaker dropped into the food, I'd request low salt. (I'd prefer a new chef.)
Wasn’t a great experience, was sat on time but took 15 minutes to be greeted. Steak was over cooked and dry, salads came out with the main course. Good wine menu.
I booked for a Tuesday night, thinking the soup of the day would be their cream of chili soup, and it was not. Soup that night was fire roasted tomato, and tomatoes make me ill.
Excellent restaurant, excellent food, excellent everything except they did not have the soup that is only available on Tuesday, and I did not get to enjoy the soup that I had made the reservation to try with a friend.
Everything was great bu our meal took mor than one hour because they said they had a couple of large partys. Which is not fair.
Waiter would forget about our table, took forever to get drinks on the table. Seemed new to the job.
The service is always perfect and the meal which was timed, was delicious!
Amazing costumer service. All waiters & hostess were excepcional. Food was great too. Overall, it was a great experience. I will totally go back.
It was our first time at Mesa Street Grill. We ordered from the brunch menu and the food was pretty average. The restaurant was not that busy, yet it took a while to get our lunch and it was initially delivered to the wrong table. Based on the great reviews we read about it, I was quite dissatisfied with the food. We will most likely not return.
Quality culinary offerings and very good servers. Hostess' are a bit snobbish.
Had an amazing time! I would highly recommend, thank you for making my daughter's day that much greater!
There were several gnats around the table and food entire time which was annoying. Service was great. No noise. Food was way overpriced. My steak was extremely raw which I told waiter but ate any way because I didn’t want to wait to fix. One time dinner. Not a place I would return because it’s overpriced and overrated. Best part was the lobster Mac and cheese but I didn’t ever find a piece of lobster in it to eat..
Good food, nice environment. Definitely worth a visit if in El Paso.
Loved the food from the appetizers to our main meal, as well as our drinks. The staff was friendly. We are definitely going back.
Wished we lived in El Paso so we could go back regularly. Had a fantastic lunch. Shrimp tacos were the best! The tuna tacos and their presentation were spectacular. Service was spot on.
Really good servers. Good food. Good ambient.
Food and service was great but was a bit expensive.
It is a good place from dinner. Kind of old school classy.
Great server and food was on point.
We were there for Valentines and there was a large crowd being so loud. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. Very disappointing. It was also very cold in there and not many options for vegetarian.
The restaurant was freezing, the food was meh, and the waiter who was super nice kept forgetting drinks and food, overall the experience was meh the lobster was flavorless, probably won’t go back especially for Valentine’s.
My wife loved the restaurant
Excellent service and good was great. The server was very attentive of us.
Sat us in the wrong section. I had reservations for high seating. Server was good. My wife’s meal, pork belly carbonara, was awful. Made her sick. Won’t be returning.
Tables are tiny you'll have enough room for 2 plates and a glass of water and your table is already cluttered. I ordered the rack of lamb medium and got that thing super bloody. Lastly the dessert they are ok nothing to loose your mind over but from the time it took from when we ordered a chocolate cake and a tiramisu it took 20min to get to the table mind you the lack of space from previous plates and drinks. Over hyped over priced , HARD PASS.
Great food! Service was excellent by Ricardo
Great food, good music, fantastic drinks
Great food, great wine list, wonderful ambiance! Always a good time.
We had the stuffed jalapenos as an appetizer. Steaks with veggies and potatoes for dinner!
Birthday dinner for a friend. First time dining here; great food and service. Will definitely be back
Food was great and the drinks were tasty!
Excellent restaurant, excellent staff
When we arrived at 4pm for Happy Hour, we were greeted by the hostess. Very pleasant. We wanted to sit in the open patio area. She informed us that smoking was permitted on the patio. We are not smokers, but said it wouldn't bother us. We got to choose what table we wanted on the patio. The Server was very efficient and kept checking with us the entire time we were there. It was downhill from there. We ordered several appetizers while we were there. Chile Con Queso was bland. No flavor, tasted like it came from an opened can of Velvetta. Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos were good. The Nacho Tower was just plain bad. Brisket meat tasted like it was 10 days old - dry. We didn't even finish it.
However, the worst part of the visit were two men that were sitting a few tables from us. They were on their speaker phones non-stop. 1 of them left after an hour, so we thought it would get better. However, the other person stayed for another hour - walking all around the patio area, on his speaker phone talking so loud, we could almost hear the the entire conversations. None of the staff asked him to keep the level down a bit. They just ignored him, as he walked non-stop around the patio.
Based on the quality level of the food and the overall experience - we weren't impressed at all, and would not come back and would not recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful dining area, warm welcoming elegance. Food of the highest quality prepared with care and imagination.
Friendly yet respectful service made this a special evening.
Price consistent with what one would expect from a restaurant like this one.
Will return should we be in El Paso in the future.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, clearly a significant amount of time, attention went into the décor. The service is borderline abysmal. Hostesses were eating at the front desk, and stopped before seating us to eat french fries. Despite requesting a dinning room table when making my reservation, they took us outside and we're sensitive to smoke. She then pointed around the restaurant and asked "what do you want?". We were then taken to a table right next to another party of 5, when the dining room was 80% vacant (read: we were the 4th party in the whole dinning room). Oh, we were also asked if we wanted a cocktail or wine menu. They're disposable menus, why would that even be a question? It's a date night, of course we want a drink.
Once we finally received a socially-distanced table, the service from wait staff was much more on par with a fine(r) dining restaurant. The waiter (Tomas) was prompt, and much more professional than the hostess staff.
Food was amazing, we ordered the Steak Diane and a side of lobster mac. Plenty of food to split between the two of us. We also started with bacon wrapped jalepenos, which were 5 stars. Would definitely go back for the food, but the service and general coordination of staff really need some changes.
