   Starting from the valet staff to our lovely beautiful wonderful server! The nachos were amazing and the drinks too! Mesa Mezcal was our second date spot and it went amazing! What a great experience, lovely staff, awesome prices and overall amazing!!

   We had a team dinner. The food was delicious. The al pastor pork… to die for. They were short staffed and paid attention to us perfectly. Great place!

   Worst experience I've ever had at a Marriott property. This restaurant is in the lobby of the Westin Las Colinas Convention Center and is adjacent to the Toyota Music Factory. If you are staying at the Westin or conducting business at the Convention Center, do yourself a favor and avoid this place, there are literally a dozen other options that are a two-minute (or less) walk away that offer a more robust menu, better atmosphere and will provide better service. The night of my visit, there appeared to be only one server for the entire floor and despite this, the restaurant continued to seat open tables. From the time we were seated, it took 17 minutes to place a drink order, it was 30 more minutes before the server came back around and another 30 for a 2nd visit, so at that point, we decided to forego entrees, asked for our check and finally got out of there (escaped) after spending an hour and 47 minutes to have 2 drinks and an appetizer. To make matters worse, our visit was on 2/22, National Margarita Day where Mesa Mezcal touted $5 margaritas "all day" on OpenTable, however, when the check arrived, we were charged full price ($13) but because of the absolute lack of service and no sign of management, we felt we had no recourse but to pay this as well as failing to get validation of the parking ticket (another $12) due to the utter chaos around this place. Bottom line - this was not the servers fault, he was doing the best he could. This is squarely on management and as I stated at the beginning, very disappointing coming from an organization like Marriott. Stay away from Mesa Mezcal if you find yourself in this area and instead visit one of the far more worthy eateries located in, and around, the Toyota Music Factory and surrounding area.

   My Valentine’s Day experience at Mesa Mezcal was a bit underwhelming. The ambiance was nice with a violinist playing live music. However, this only lasted for approximately 30 minutes and then it ceased. The food was good but was definitely over priced. Spent over $200 on chicken and beef and only 2 cocktail drinks. Unfortunately I would not return for those prices as I can find the same taste elsewhere for approximately half the cost. Will say that the service and attention received was more than adequate.

   This was like fake tex mex food. The chips and salsa which you have to ask for and it’s not free was so hot that we only had a few dips and could not bear the rest. The limited menu items were disappointing and not worth the hyper pricing. The server was nice and polite but we won’t be going back… not ever!

   Had a slight glitch but the staff and Manager made it all good. Overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend this place.

    Ozzie is an excellent bartender!! He really gets to know his customers. He remembered us from our summer visit! Impressive!
