The food was very good. Freshly made guacamole and nachos one of the best I had. Backyard also the plus. The waiter was polite and very friendly. I would comeback again.

I made a reservation, but that didnt actually mean anything bc I couldnt get a table until the entire group was there which is hard to coordinate for a birthday party. It isnt a formal dinner, people come and go. What was the point of the reservation? Also, the volume in the restaurant is such that you have to yell just to talk to the person next to you

We made a reservation for 7:30pm on a Friday night. The restaurant is pretty small and when we walked in it was extremely loud. We told the host we had a reservation and he went to the back to clean off a table for 2 (without looking at a computer or list to confirm our name). There were 2 empty tables in the front so we asked if we could sit there. They said those tables were for reservations. I told him I had a reservation and they still said we could not sit there. They then took us to the back of the restaurant to our table, which was literally across from the bathroom and right in front of the kitchen. You could smell pine sol and other cleaning supplies from the table. The table was so far in the back that the whole vibe was different than the rest of the restaurant. We asked if we could sit in the front (one more time) because we did not want to sit in front of the bathroom and they offered us a seat at the bar. Mesa Azteca should really understand that if people take the time to make a reservation for a special occasion and nice dinner, they DO NOT want to be seated in the worst seats in the entire restaurant and if you do not have space to accommodate all of your patrons with an acceptable experience then do not offer reservations beyond a certain capacity. The table they tried to seat us in should be saved for walk in clients or for no one at all if you actually want your patrons to return. We walked out of the restaurant after the 3rd attempt to move our seats. Meza Azteca lost customers that made reservations, who showed up on time, and nicely asked to move seats, all for the sake of saving other tables for reservations that may not have even showed up (they were not there at the time we arrived). I will never return and I recommend that other diners specify seating preferences when making your reservation.

Service and food were both excellent. My party had the chicken and steak quesadillas. The food was displayed very well and tasted even better! A great place to stop in for lunch or dinner.

The food is absolutely delicious. The workers are super nice and give great recommendations to food and drinks. Would absolutely recommend to go. Atmosphere and people overall are amazing.
