Merv’s Café & Bar, is an American Café and Bar style concept, which will provide a unique relaxing eat-in or eat-out experience, similar to dining at home.

Our mission is to WOW people every day and to be the most sustainable restaurant in Leicester by sourcing our ingredients locally. Our exciting new family-friendly menu will be fresh, homemade and cater for all dietary preferences such as healthy, gluten, veg and vegan. We are proud of our signature and very popular dishes such as the Ribs and Wings.

We inspire loyalty in both our guests and in our staff, our values include providing fair wages for workers and giving back to the communities. We work with “Quality. Passion. Pride.” “An attitude of gratitude” is shown to our customers, employees and vendors – because, without their input and hard work, service, labour and time, our business would not be here!

After reading the other review I thought I would book in for a bite to eat before attending the game at Welford Road. On walking in I would only describe this eatery as a works canteen. The god for quality and value was extremely poor. My two colleagues had a hotdog each and they were no more than something you may give to give to five year olds. They were minuscule and nowhere near the quality you would expect from an ‘American Diner’. Both were left half eaten. Needless to say we were the only people dining for the hour we were on site. Certainly would not visit again.

We were a family of 4 on our way to a rugby match in Leicester. Mervs provided excellent burgers and fries with good portions and value staff great, we will return when needing food before the game.
