Merryman’s Pub is located in the heart of downtown Pitman, NJ. This spot was once home to the Pitman National Bank, more than 100 years ago! Merryman’s owners, Bill Merryman and Vito Mannino, are thrilled to bring this beautiful building back to life for the community. Our waiter Nick was awesome! So was Peg! Food was very good, especially the French Onion Soup. The prices seemed a little steep, as my burger came out to $25.00. And for $8.50 per glass of wine, the glass should be at the minimum half full.

It was a busy night, but wish they had held tables for reservations. We had a 5:30 reservation and weren’t seated until after 6.

The fried pickle chicken sandwich is so delicious! Great energy and vibe olin an old bank remodel. My only negative comment is the that stools at the bar & high tops don’t have back rests so there’s no place to put your coat/handbag.

The menu is huge, but the prices are pretty high—$18 for a ham sandwich is a lot! Service was wonderful, but I’m not sure I’d go back.

Made a reservation very easily. Was easy to confirm. Table ready when we got there. Had a few extra people. Merrymans was nice enough to accommodate. Also our waiter, Jimmy, was right on top of everything and did a great job for a table of 10!!

What a disappointment. Showed up for our reservation and the restraunt was not open for business. Very unprofessional to take our out of town guests for dinner when the establishment is not even in operation. At that short of notice I could barely squeeze in to get somewhere else. I understand if you’re having a hardship after the fires, but your building is not in the fire zone. You could at least update your web based information and Stop Taking Reservations if your not in business.

the hostess was very accommodating. We were a little early for our reservation. Our server was attentive and the food was delivered promptly. My only complaint was that I ordered a hamberger well done but it arrived quite rare. I did not send it back and delay my friend's meal.

Food was hot and very good. We ate outside which was very nice but is also why I rated the noise level as moderate. But it wasn't so noisy as to make talking uncomfortable. Service was very fast and our waitress checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. We'll definitely go back.

Blood orange margaritas were delicious! Our server, Ryan, was outstanding and very attentive. Fries were hot and delicious. Mac & cheese was a bit runny and didn’t have the crunchy panko topping as described in the menu, but was still tasty, especially with the pulled pork. At times it was a little noisy outside with revving motorcycles, but that’s no fault of the establishment. Can’t wait to return !

Awesome evening from start to finish! We started our night outside enjoying a rare, cool summer night at a shaded sidewalk table. Our server, Beau, was very nice and attentive. Great cocktails, as always. We moved indoors for dinner and to claim our spot for trivia. My friend and I both had Reubens & they were really good. Great balance of all ingredients & nicely grilled without being greasy. Two other friends had the fish and chips. They were served 2 enormous, crispy fish filets with fries, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and were provided malt vinegar upon request. They both loved it and had leftovers to take home. We watched the Phillies game before, during, and after the fun trivia. The trivia has a good mix of questions, and moves along at a good pace. Gift cards are given to top 3 teams. We were happy not to be rushed after our meal and trivia, as the Phillies didn't secure their win until after 12 innings. This restaurant has a welcoming, family feel to it. They make you want to come back:)

You can make a reservation which is very helpful on a weekend night! We were seated quickly and the service was good. All the meals we ordered came out in good time and were enjoyable. We'll be returning soon!

As this was our first visit to Merryman’s Pub we didn’t know what to expect. Fortunately, we had made reservations as the restaurant was very crowded, which we took as a good sign. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times throughout our meals. Our meals were good with one exception. The chili con carne which one of our fellow diners orders out a lot. She said it tasted like canned hormel chili. We all sampled it and agreed, not worth the money.

Entertainment was great, DJ Keys was engaging and interactive, there every other Tuesday for karaoke, but sound quality and acoustics were not what they could have been (I assume it to be this way so that the dining area is a little more pleasant for diners NOT there for Karaoke). The seating area is small, tight, and packed with tables to accommodate as many as possible and can handle big parties. The entrance is handicap accessible and there is a handicap parking space right behind the building, close to the ramp. The service was phenomenal, from host, to kitchen, to server and bus staff; they are all on top of it, knowledgeable, and so accommodating, and the food was fun and great; a bar food/sandwich menu stepped up a little to include some twists. The crowd was a nice mix; a small slice of American pie. Overall, we had a nice time!
