We are thrilled to have recommenced dining in, for breakfast & lunch, seven days a week from the 29th of October.
Numbers are very limited & for this reason there are a couple of changes to the way we do things.-
BREAKFAST service daily between 8.30am -10:45am.
LUNCH service daily between 12.00pm -3.30pm.
Bookings will be staggered during these service times.
With inside numbers currently so limited & our weather being so unpredictable, some areas outside will be walk in only & unfortunately some will have no ‘plan B’ for inclement weather.
For a short time, as we progress through the roadmap increments, we kindly ask that all bookings be made over the phone. Please ring our friendly staff to make your booking on 03 5989 8088.
All Covid safe operating procedures are in place & will continue to be updated in line with evolving requirements.

We had an outstanding lunch! The duck was amazing and the brown sugar pavlova with pumpkin sage ice cream was sublime. Together with a great choice of wines, attentive, knowledgeable service and a pleasant ambience we had a very enjoyable visit to Merricks General Store. We'll be back!

Beautiful setting. Like a country kitchen. Incredible hum from surrounding dinners chatter. Really good mood. Really fresh ingredients making yummy cuisine.. And staff with a great attitude. Love lunching at Merricks

My duck dish was very bland, no sauce and the beans was tasteless and mushy. Not a good combination of ingredients. My companion pork dish was not much favour. For the price we paid, the food was below average
