One way to make sure you’re cooking with the freshest ingredients is to grow them yourself. Meriwether’s grows the produce it serves at its own Skyline Farm and is proud to be among only a handful of truly farm-to-table restaurants across the country. Chef Michael Delaney's menus are inspired by the Willamette Valley’s peak-of-the-season abundance, matching our harvest with some of the finest raw ingredients in the world, from the farmers, fishers and ranchers of the Pacific Northwest.

Inside, experience our warm and cozy ambiance with stone fireplaces, hardwood floors, stained glass and copper accents. Outside, guests dine year-round in the covered, heated & enclosed patio, gardens & gazebo. There is even an outdoor fire-pit, so perfect for a chilly Portland evening. Take a walk through our gorgeous all-season garden that surrounds the entire 2601 Vaughn Street historic building.

Second year in a row we have dined at this restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Also the second year in a row the food was subpar. The steak was between mildly warm and cool. I even asked for mine to se sent back and warmed up and it still came back cool. We also felt rushed. Our salad came out when we were still eating the appetizer and then the main course came out when we were still eating salads. A meal for two was almost $300!! Will not be dining here again on Valentine’s Day. Normal dinners have always been solid.

We came the day before Valentine's day, and it was exactly what we wanted. Cozy, intimate, beautiful and relaxed. A New menu with unique dishes that kept us wanting more. So we ordered an appetizer, main course and dessert. We can't wait to come back! I Love how fresh and local the produce and meat were too!!!

Been here many times and always a great experience. The seasonal menu does wonders even in the winter. We tend to go early in the dinner hour so it is quieter and less crowded for romantic dinners. Highly recommended and consistently A+

Meriwether’s is a great place for a beautiful evening with friends/family, to celebrate an occasion, to meet a client. The food is always special, particularly as they have their own farm for fresh ingredients. Ambiance is really enjoyable, several rooms each with a different feel and outdoor dining when the weather is good.

Great service ambiance and food. They made me a custom vegan dinner and it was delicious. I was not vey impressed with the cocktails. We had lemon drops and they were very small didn’t fill the martini glass and weak on alcohol. Otherwise a wonderful dining experience.

Outstanding food for a Sunday brunch! Freshly prepared and good size portions, with very good service! It was rather crowded with a waiting list when we got there (that right there speaks volumes), so I'm glad I made a reservation!

I was given gift certificate to Meriwether's for Christmas. So a friend and I came for lunch. It is a beautiful venue, and smelled awesome when we walked in. We were seated right away and a waitress took our order for coffee & water within a few minutes. Our waitress also was the waitress for the bar which was right next to our booth.
For the price of the food we expected amazing quality. My friend had the quiche which she really enjoyed. The salad that went with it was fresh, crisp and had new veggies (I believe one was a watermelon radish).
I have food issues so I chose the hamburger. The pepper sauce was good - it had a bite but didn't build. That's the best I can say for it. It wasn't temperature hot, nor were the fries. The few fries I was able to eat before they got cold were tasty, but cold fries - ick.
On to dessert. My friend had creme brule and I had the apple pie. She said hers was "good", but it didn't live up to the image Meriwether's portrays. My pie was tasty. But the crust was tough - I wasn't able to cut it with my fork. BUT the caramel sauce was AWESOME!
I had $ left on the gift cert so I got 3 batches of cookies. What a disappointment! The brownies are rock hard and the other 4 are extremely small for costing almost $2 each.
We had a great time, despite the lacking in the food and our waitress was so busy elsewhere . . .
Oh, the coffee was good.

I was greeted pleasantly and promptly upon my arrival. The waiting area was cozy with cute little tables to set belongings or beverages. Our wait was short - we arrived a bit early for our reservation. The server arrived promptly and was knowledgeable about the menu. We all enjoyed our meal.

We had a late lunch on a weekday. The Kale salad with chicken was fantastic and my friend had bolognese sauce and meatballs. The food and service was fantastic but I would say the prices are a little high. My salad was $24 I think and there wasn’t that much chicken on it. But it was delicious!
