Thought the special could have better or cheaper. Loved the appetizers.
Great ambience, friendly greeters and wait staff, and mouthwatering filet mignon and chicken teriyaki skewers. My one complaint is that the bread before the meal doesn't measure up to the rest of the menu at this fine restaurant. Please consider giving the bread a serous upgrade.
We eat here often. The food is great as well as the atmosphere.
Had a great time with incredible service! I asked the chef to prepare our steak the way he thought the steak should be cooked- He did an incredible job! Our waiter was amazing- friendly, timely with excellent suggestions. I consider Meritage to be the best restaurant in East Greenwich!
Husband and I headed out to Mertiage for Happy Hour, Packed as usual, for a more comfortable table we were seated in the dinning room. We were going to have H.H. menu until we found out lamp chops were on the menu!! Husband had them and said they were delicious, I had the Kabob trio which is shrimp, scallops and steak tips. I love that! Our server was Jen, she let us have a taste of the featured wine and it was so good we ordered a bottle. Pasqua if I remember correctly. I like that they do that, so you don't make a mistake ordering a different than usual picks of wine. From the hostess to the servers to the GM, everyone is so nice it makes for a very pleasant night out.
I have been to Meritage a handful of times, and I am yet to be disappointed. The drinks are fun, and plentiful, and the menu leaves little to be desired. Some of the meals are pricier than others, but the food is well worth it!
Another great meal at Meritage. My friends and I had a wonderful evening. Our meals were really great. I was however a bit disappointed that there was only one chicken dish on the menu. Not sure way there was a lot of fish and meat. I used to love chicken Gorgonzola and Tuscany chicken...both gone...our server was excellent!!!
We were encouraged to try Meritage because if a special offer we got to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We are familiar with their two sister restaurants in Seekonk and Pawtucket and have always enjoyed the meals there. We were certainly not disappointed with Meritage. The ambiance was nice, the service was attentive and the food was excellent. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass, a meal not available in too many restaurants and loved it. I had pork tenderloin that was wonderfully seasoned with interesting sides.
It’s not a convenient place for us to get to, but we will probably return
Always enjoyed having dinner, great food and drinks.
A regular stop for us. Always good food and friendly service. Our server, Dillon, is a real asset to this restaurant. Very menu knowledgeable and courteous. Anxious to go back.
Stopped in on a tuesday for the 2 for $24/ea menu. There were plenty of selections to choose from and something for any taste. I ordered the spinach and radish salad as a starter which was huge to say the least. The ingredients were well portioned so there was plenty of everything in the salad making sure all the flavors were coming through. For my entree I went with the Pork Medallions Gratin which was delish. Perfect portion size served with mash and veggies. Best part being there was plenty of sauce to cover all of the medallions but not drowning in it. Delish!! My guest got the caesar salad which was also big along with the lobster cardinal. That dish had plenty of seafood in good sized pieces (some places are stingy) mixed with the pasta making for a hearty dish. Plenty to take home. Had no room for dessert but they offer both edible desserts and alcoholic beverage desserts all of which sounded great. Saw more items on the regular menu that I can’t wait to go back and try. Our server was knowledgable and attentive. Overall a great experience.
Perfect in every way. My favorite spot. Service and food never lets us down.
Husband and I went to Meritage Saturday night for Restaurant Week. It was packed. We were greeted by Amanda and Sarah and the GM Dave. We had reservations but had to wait about 10 min. for our table to be ready. I think Meritage is quite crowded (more than usual,But it's always busy) because they offer many selections for Restaurant Week. My Husband had the new fish dish and I had the Clams Portuguese. Shrimp cocktail and grilled clams for apps, and gelato and I tried the smaller version of the dessert pizza. It was great! Our server was Jen who does such a great job and makes our experience so nice. Everyone that works there is happy so that says a lot about a place! Our food was delicious and leaving we get a friendly greeting as well.
Tried Meritage for the first time during Restaurant Week. Outstanding appetizers and entrees. Will definitely be back again.
