        We flew in from Australia a couple of hours before but we battled our jet lag to have a meal at Meril and we weren’t disappointed in any way! The service was friendly and attentive and the food was just delicious. We opted for some small plates and shared a couple of desserts, everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Highly recommended!

        We had excellent service however, there were 15 open tables and we were sat next to a party at least 12 with no elbow room. I think our server was overwhelmed with them. The food was just ok. My least favorite experience of my trip. Just know that this restaurant is extremely loud. I would not go back for that reason alone.

        Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the service was exceptional, the food was amazing (got the drum with veggies dish) highly recommend! Refreshing Hugo spritz! Definitely coming back

        Had the shrimp tacos, and the shrimp and pork dumplings. They were both great. Also enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

        The fish dip did not have a good flavor. I was chunks of fish with mayo and Smokey taste but not smooth at all to spread on the crackers. My dbl hamburger was well done and black all around the edges. Fries were very good an so were the carrots! My husbands fish was very small and said the taste of just ok. We love going here in the past and this time was below the quality we have been use to in the past. Not sure if we will try it again or not. Our servers were very good!

        Meril has great food and a nice ambiance; however, this was my 3rd time going and each time was spread out over the course of a year so the visits were not close to each other. With each visit my party encountered the same issue- a full to capacity restaurant with very little wait staff. For this past visit I was a part of a group of 4 and it took 3 hours from the time we sat down until the time we left and that was not us just talking over our main entree. The food took an exceptionally long time. Our server seemed like she had a large area and although she tried her best, she couldn’t help the speed of the food. This will likely be my last time patronizing Meril, at least for a very long time.

        We had a great night at Meril with family from out of town. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Our server Craig and his assistant Marcus took care of us from start to finish, ensuring that our order was delivered appropriately and that all was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious. Some highlights that stood out were the cordon bleu flatbread, cauliflower, tuna bundles, and fettuccine Nero. For dessert, the skillet cookie was amazing and that famous banana cream pie never disappoints - absolutely delicious! We look forward to our next visit already!
