   Really beautiful restaurant. Food was okay. I really wish they had more vegan options. The menu said their only vegan dish was a polenta with veggies tomato and cashew cream, but there was no cashew cream at all, and minimal veggies.

   My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with dinner and drinks. Great staff, food was delicious, and drinks were great. Highly recommend! Views of the ocean were also amazing!

   For ambience and views, Meridian cannot be beat. Service is also excellent (kudos to Sean, who has been there for many years). They have a pretty good bar and my date really liked her cocktail. I've been dry for a few months and unfortunately they had just a single NA beer option (they also have the Pelican Sparkle Hops, which is just nasty in my opinion). We had an appetizer of the steamer clams, which was excellent (but be sure to ask for a couple of extra pieces of bread since the broth is too good to leave behind). My date had the scallops, which were also amazing. I had the burger. I'm not sure I like the idea of lightly fried pork belly in lieu of crispier bacon on a burger. Texture-wise it made things mushy and eating it was pretty messy. But the taste was overall pretty good. And the fries were nice. Dessert was a ginger cake, which was amazing. Prices are pretty steep ($150+ with tip), but this is a splurge so I didn't really care. I'll definitely be back.

   We are often at the Meridian. It is our favorite restaurant on the Oregon Coast. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful and congenial. We love it.

   Food, service, environment, ambiance was top notch! Inviting and cozy with a spectacular view! The burger was amazing! The crispy pork belly with Brie and mango chutney on top made it the burger of the year for me!! Only minor complaint; and very minor as dessert was still super delicious, was the chef may have used the same knife to slice the fresh strawberries as they did for chopping the onion. The strawberries had a hint of fresh onion flavor, which kind of threw me off. Otherwise a must food and dining experience!!

   Overall we really enjoyed our experience at meridian. The staff was friendly, the food was great! Our only complaint would be the speed of service and operation of service could be improved. Felt like it took awhile to be greeted at our table and at bar when we had drinks prior to being seated for dinner. The staff should coordinate to have a runner to deliver items or all staff should pitch in and help each other out. We watched our wine sit at the bar for quite some time and other wait staff ignore it when they could have easily brought us our wine when they delivered drinks to their tables right next to us. Just some small improvements for operational efficiency would go a long way as there are too many staff members working there for it to be slow. We will be back!

   Staying at hotel and decided to try Meridian for dinner. Overpriced for quality and portion size. Wait staff needs additional training for improved service. Not once was our party asked if our drinks could be refilled or if our food was ok. Food took 50 minutes to arrive! Overall, terrible experience.

    It was our first time at Meridian and we couldn’t be happier. Our server, Sean, was incredible and helped guide us towards wonderful selections while genuinely concerned of our experience. The steamer clams, chop salad and scallops were all wonderful! We can’t wait to come back.
