Meridian sources its creations from the sea, local farmers, and its own herb garden to create casually elegant dishes that capture the bounty and spirit of its surroundings. Meridian restaurant welcomed us with very warm Scandinavian interior. Our server- Lilly was super friendly, efficient and professional. We had a brunch menu and I would like to say that the food was delicious. Thank you Meridian and to all the staff members. We will definitely be back!

It was definitely in our top five and compares favorably with Nobu in San Diego. Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the bar was fantastic. Definitely going back.

They took our reservation for lunch. But did not offer a lunch menu, but rather an extremely limited bar menu. We’ve made an effort to get to Pacific city They should be more careful about accepting lunch reservations without being prepared to actually serve lunch

Hi Eric, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Yes unfortunately we have a limited menu while the kitchen turns and prepares for dinner service. Thanks for pointing out our miscommunication from the Open Table side of the business. Our website is up to date on the info but unfortunately not on the reservation system side. My apologize once again. Hope you come back when we are better prepared to fulfill your requests.

Wow, what a meal! The whole experience was so outstanding we made a reservation for the next night before we had even finished our meal! I had the tuna special (thinly sliced rare tuna with a mango sauce on a bed of slaw with a bit of a kick). It was delicious. Some of the best tuna I’ve had, prepared to perfection. My husband had the halibut dinner off the menu. Super fresh and flavorful. Our server, Sean, was very friendly and attentive. Overall, we had such an enjoyable time! And we loved watching the surfers out the window while we ate. 😊

Really beautiful restaurant. Food was okay. I really wish they had more vegan options. The menu said their only vegan dish was a polenta with veggies tomato and cashew cream, but there was no cashew cream at all, and minimal veggies.

My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with dinner and drinks. Great staff, food was delicious, and drinks were great. Highly recommend! Views of the ocean were also amazing!

For ambience and views, Meridian cannot be beat. Service is also excellent (kudos to Sean, who has been there for many years). They have a pretty good bar and my date really liked her cocktail. I've been dry for a few months and unfortunately they had just a single NA beer option (they also have the Pelican Sparkle Hops, which is just nasty in my opinion). We had an appetizer of the steamer clams, which was excellent (but be sure to ask for a couple of extra pieces of bread since the broth is too good to leave behind). My date had the scallops, which were also amazing. I had the burger. I'm not sure I like the idea of lightly fried pork belly in lieu of crispier bacon on a burger. Texture-wise it made things mushy and eating it was pretty messy. But the taste was overall pretty good. And the fries were nice. Dessert was a ginger cake, which was amazing. Prices are pretty steep ($150+ with tip), but this is a splurge so I didn't really care. I'll definitely be back.
