Meresta Eatery is located in Binalong Bay overlooking the beautiful Bay of Fires region of Tasmania.

We are a small team, with a focus on supporting Tasmanian growers, suppliers and creators.

Our menu’s are curated by our award winning Executive Chef, Josh Retzer, using the finest produce.

We are open seven days a week.

Now that the Winter weather is upon us, we are offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and wood fired pizza across Friday to Sunday, from 7.30 am till late. From Monday to Thursday, we offer lunch, dinner, and wood fired pizza from 11am till late.

We have an extensive beverage list, highlighting Tasmanian wine makers, distillers and brewers.

was overcharged for a bottle of wine that was not ordered or consumed, have rung to get a refund but calls not returned

Whilst the meals were nice, the service was very poor. The young man working front of house hadn’t reserved our table before our arrival, he checked the system after we arrived and simply said “oops, forgot to check”. We were ignored once our main meals came out, and during this time the male and female waitstaff could be overheard talking about their personal lives very loudly. We waited for someone to come over to order desserts/more drinks until finally I got sick of waiting and went to find someone to help and clear our table. Very unprofessional, considering there was only two families in the entire restaurant. On the up side, the dumplings were amazing!

Fabulous location with great views over the bay. Service was edgy and friendly with a great hot breakfast. Small well curated menu with ample choices. Highly recommend sitting outside if an option.

Half the things not available on the menu. Food was so hot and spicy , it should have had a warning. No table service for more drinks or how our food was, not even napkins or knives and folks on the table, had to ask for them. Massively over priced for the service and quality of food served.

One of the best places on the north east coast! Pizzas and delicious and lovely view across Binalong Bay. Outdoor seating on balcony but dress warm!

Many of the items on the menu were unavailable so I had to have a burger, my last choice. Pizzas and service were still good so 2 stars.
