About Mercy Wine Bar
Our major focus is on wine, so the food at Mercy is smaller portions and meant to compliment the wine. Food and wine pairing is a key focus for us. Wines and food can taste very different when paired in different combinations. Our food is served in smaller portions called "Plates." We encourage you to try several different items and pair them with different wines. Many items are meant to be shared and passed around, more family style. The dining experience is much more European, where you try a few things in smaller portions with different wines. We'd be more than happy to help you through the selection process.

Mercy Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
A great place to spend Valentines. The service was great, only reason it wasn't 5 stars was I had a little trouble with our servers accent (sounded French). The food was amazing, the Mrs had the Filet grilled and I enjoyed the blackened Salmon. In addition the au grautin potatoes and asparagus were good. They had live music which added to the environment and ambience. Overall a great evening.
I took a friend that just moved to Dallas to Mercy for my favorite wine and grilled cheese sandwich (with fries). Their GC is outstanding and paring this with a great glass of wine allows the conversation to flow easily and freely! Our server was outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, and knew when to approach the table. You have a new Mercy Fan!
Food, ambience, and service...amazing. White truffle Mac ‘n’ cheese...delish. Chocolate trio dessert...fantastic. Only downside - you either have to pay the valet to park your car or park in BFE and walk. My friends who didn’t valet spent 20 minutes looking for a place to park.
I have been even a huge fan of mercy for years. I convinced my party of five that it was awesome and we went on this past saturdays following evening at six. Our service was a little slower than usual but I chalked it up to being slightly busier than usual. I myself waited tables for five years and know the ins and outs of food and wine service. Our waiter, male with facial hair, glasses, and bald, was our server. He didn't not recommend any wines apps or entrees throughout our entire evening, even when asked. He would just say okay yeah sure and walk away. We eventually order two bottles of wine, a cheese board, and our wnteees. Five total for five people. Our enteees arrive missing a flatbread, one of the entrees. They Say nothing and walk away. Our server goes to the back and comes back and starts talking to a two top beside us, not their greeting. He proceeds to concentrate on the theee two tops beside us and ignore our five top. I started at him until he acknowledged me and just said, "it's on it's way out now." We wait, and wait. And no food is headed our way. I finally flag down another server and politely ask him to check on it since obviously our server decided to ignore us instead of admitting he had forgotten to put the order in for the fifth entree. He says he will go check in it immediately. He returns to tell us it still have several minutes remaining on it, clearly not what our first server had indicated. Our main server never returns to our table. We end up being completely done eating by the time our fifth entree arrives. Our main server FINALLY returns to our table to just say, everything tasting good? I. reminded him that our fifth entree was extremely late. He just walks off. We then had to flag down another server to get our check as we were again left alone. The flatbread was comped at the end due to our complaining which is outrageous. I have raved about this place and now I'm not sure I'll ever return. We were ignored.
I understand this use to be a very popular restaurant but it seemed a little sad there. We were the only ones for lunch although another couple came in for a short time for a drink. The salads we had were very good but it was a small menu. Not sure if we will go back again.
Mercy has been a favorite spot of mine for some time and they continue to impress. Excellent live music, but not too loud to have a conversation even if sitting near the stage. Our waiter was amazing and found us the perfect wine. The wine selection will blow you away. It's a perfect date spot!
We had fun at this restaurant. Stephen our waiter was very helpful with descriptions and samples of various wines. The selection was broad. The happy hour choices were no ordinary table wines, all were unique. A good place to relax with friends, not rushed. About 7:30 some good live music started.
First visit to Mercy Wine Bar. Food was excellent and the service and our waiting were as good as it gets. He was very knowledgeable about wines and the food and made great recommendations that really enjoyed.
The Entertainment was also great.
