Mercury Chophouse was outstanding. From the hosts, waitstaff, and management all were friendly and attentive. It was my friend's birthday and they truly new how to make her feel special.
The atmosphere is always nice and the food is always amazing.. I love the staff here at Mercury Chophouse. It's my go to place when I want an amazing meal..
The appetizer was not plated well and not very good. Dinner was cold. Service was sporadic. Had to ask for bread and butter multiple times. Not a good steakhouse experience.
The experience was great.
All four of us ordered 8 oz. filets. Our friends ordered theirs medium well, my husband and I ordered ours medium rare. I cut into my steak and immediately said to the waiter, I have the wrong steak, this is cooked all the way through. One of our friends had already worked his baked potato over and said that he might have my steak. With the waiter standing there my friend handed me his plate. I said, please switch the potatoes, but the waiter did nothing to accommodate me. My friend acted like it was no big deal and I didn’t won’t to make an issue of it. It would have been nice if the waiter would have accommodated an awkward situation that was clearly the restaurant’s responsibility to deliver the right food to the right person. Service was very slow and inattentive. It was our third time to this restaurant and this was by far the worst experience. Time to up your game, Arlington needs this nicer dining option!
Great food and wait staff. We enjoyed the piano singer too.
Kyle and Jenny greeted / seated us courteously/promptly. The 9th floor all window panoramic view was awesome! The appetizer and entrees were exceptional 100% culinary artist products. Very tasty and appropriate portions. Our Server was very knowledgeable of all the menu and bar items and provided us world class service. He went beyond the call of duty to engage the kitchen for an off-the-menu item, and delivered. Adam was a great Overseer, to ensure activities were moving as expected. Overall, great food, great setting, and exceptional Staff!
We went for my husbands birthday. Had read great reviews. The positive was the piano player and the view. Staff was also very nice and friendly. However… we had a reservation and were seated quickly and served water and drink menus. It was then 15 minutes before we were asked for drink order. Then another 15 to get drinks and ordered appetizer. Another 20 minutes to receive. So almost an hour in and we were not in a rush but could have used another drink. Scallops and calamari were good. Fillet cigar was not. Son compared to a taquito. Ordered dinner and another drink when that was delivered. Never saw the beverages or were able to order wine. Another 30 minutes later they brought our dinners. Sons lobster ravioli was good. My New York, ordered medium rare looked good but when I cut into it was stone cold and blue. My husbands pork chop was as well. Unfortunately it took 10 minutes before we saw anyone to have them fix it. By then everything else was cold. Another 10 minutes we got them back. The New York steak was delicious. Pork was also good. Sides were a mess. Broccoli I was so salty and garlicky it was inedible. I never write bad reviews but this was so disappointing I needed to let them know.
It was great!
Was a beautiful setting, views were beautiful. Music great was really nice inside reminded me of capital grille. My steak ordered med rare, was rare! Broccolini had so much chopped garlic you couldn't eat it. All I got was I'm so sorry about your meal, and we got cheesecake too. I would have thought you would have comp the dessert, as i used to when I served a steak not cooked right or whatever just to make the customer happy. But no, all I got was so sorry for the steak not cooked right. And this meal wasn't cheap either. I split the meal with my husband as we both got appetizers and wanted dessert, he didn't eat it either, so sending my meal still on the plate to be tossed didn't make me happy, as I couldn't take it we were staying in a hotel. Would I ever go back? Yes I would probably try again, if the day ever comes that I fly to Dallas.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time! The food was great! The people were fantastic! And the view was gorgeous!
Very nice facility in the center of the DFW Metroplex.
Gem in Arlington. Great food and service and view from the 9th floor.
We went for our anniversary. Unfortunately we were seated by a very loud group who were never told to quiet down by any staff. The piano player is a nice touch. Had to wait several times for the waitstaff to refill water. The food is okay but not near worth what the price they charge. They did give us a piece of cake to share for our anniversary. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant because of the high price to what you receive ratio is definitely not worth it.
Mr. Pridemore, my name is Adam White and I am the General Manager at Mercury Chophouse. I am so sorry to hear you were unable to fully enjoy the ambiance offered by our venue. It sounds as though key steps were missed in providing the excellent food and service on which we pride ourselves as a restaurant. I sincerely hope you consider joining us again and allow us to prove how high our standards for customer experience truly are.
Michael is a very good, helpful, and personable server.
Great atmosphere and food. Professional wait staff makes this experience a cut above any other restaurant staff I have seen in DFW.
Wonderful!! Just wonderful! The GM, Adam was sure to come around and check on us as well as the rest of the tables.
Enjoyed the great service, food was decent, and the peach cobbler was delicious!
Food is consistently good and service is exceptional. Restaurant interiors could use updating but overall a good experience.
Great lunch, nice portions. Fish tacos needed a bit more seasoning.
Great food once again. The scallop appetizers was the best I have had in a long time, and my steak was melt in your mouth tender. Fine meal over all. Best place to view the Fireworks by far.
We went here for our anniversary. The atmosphere was bold and elegant. The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend it!
Went there for my wife's birthday at 6 pm. Place was relatively quiet, but started to get busier around 7 pm. The view is very good from the 9th floor, but definitely would be better if you go around sunset. Food was spectacular. Excellent service.
The food was delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered! Service was superb. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Delicious steaks. Blackened red snapper was excellent. Side dish of twice baked potatoes with cheese were excellent. The Italian Cream cake was outstanding. The venue was lovely.
I highly recommend the Mercury Chophouse in Arlington for a special occasion or business meeting.
An absolutely delightful experience. The lamb chops were fantastic: juicy, tender and flavorful. Our waiter was friendly and catered to our every request. I anticipate dining at this wonderful establishment many times again.
Great dinner, atmosphere and service.
Food and service was excellent! Can’t wait to go back !!
Exceptional service and high quality, delicious food.
Did not have stock of the wine nor the beer that was ordered by our party but acceptable alternatives were provided. Steaks were perfect.
The dinner was expensive, but good food. Lovely view.
Everything was great! I love going there and always have a pleasant experience.
Great Anniversary meal on Father’s Day. Food and service were excellent. Loved the smoked Old Fahioned and the blackened redfish.
Enjoyed our steak dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.
The food was absolutely amazing and they catered to us for our anniversary. Our server Harley was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!
Food was great .. Me and my Husband Celebrated our 1yr anniversary.
Great place! Had Caesar salad, ribeye, corn risotto and peanut butter pie, all delicious!
It was nice, but put back in the corner when better tables were available. Amateur way of seating for fine dining.
I had the escargot as an appetizer and it was so-so, the temperature was “warm” it would have been much better hot and it lacked garlic or seasoning ,I had it before and it was excellent the last time.
I had the grilled salmon which was good but could have used some more seasoning but i did enjoy it, it comes with a side of roasted poblano grits and holy smokes they were so darn good and my favorite part of the meal, i have eaten at Mercury once before and I remember it was better the first time but i can’t remember what i ordered that time
Great hidden gem in Arlington!
