Overall experience is rated so low as I booked for the Star Wars Cafe and when I arrived was told my booking was for the restaurant. The amazing staff at the Cafe squeezed is in as we came down from Brisbane specifically for the Lego exhibition and the Cafe. From what the staff had told us we weren't the only ones this happened to.

Lovely lunch n a quiet sanctuary of the museum. The young waiter was charming and made our lunch a delightful experience. Delicious food and a lovely lunch, We would definitiely go back.

I came in for lunch Sunday 11.30am...I have never been to a restaurant that has served the worse food ever Melbourne is known for great and Venus your restaurant was the worse I'm rating your restaurant on our experience....the waiter that served us I did nt catch his Name long hair European his service was second to none amazing he was helpful...assertive and very polite and address me by my first name as per my booking....he was very professional...if it was not for him I would have walked out... NOW GOS FOR THE ASIAN LADY HER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE SHE DID NT ONCE COME TO THE TABLE AND ASKED IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING....WE ASKED HER WE IF WE COULD ORDER SHE JUST WALKED AWAY....VERY RUDE....THE YOUNG GUY ENDED UP TAKING OUR ORDER TO TOP IT OFF YOUR RESTAURANT WAS NT EVEN BUSY....THERE WERE TABLES INCLUDING US...IF THE ASIAN LADY WAS POLITE WHICH SHE WAS.NOT AT HELPFUL.... IF SHES THE MANAGER OR OWNER I.HOPE SHE GETS TO READ MY COMPLIMENT.... WE DIFFENTLY WILL NOT BE.RETURNING TO YOUR RESTAURANT AND DIFFENTLY WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING YOUR RESTAURANT TO ANY FREINDS AND FAMILY... THEN FOOD POOR DISGUSTING WELL.OVER PRICE CHICKEN BURGER WITH CABBAGE STORE.BROUGHT MAYO.....AND FEW FRIES $26.00 .... MY GRANDSON HAD COLES CHICKEN TENDERS WERE WE BUY AT COLES... POOR POOR ...DISGUSTING RESTAURANT.... THANKS...

Very straight to the point here, plastic chairs and average dining tables for main guests sitting in the middle. Staff too busy making drinks and standing around, rather than serving customers and ensuring they're OK and satisfied. **I will add the booking was for the Galatic Star Wars Cafe, which I booked through the link but somehow the confirmation ended up under a Mercury booking, so please note this review is for the Galatic Cafe** No silverware, only wooden knife and fork, which is almost useless cutting into the chicken dish, snapped 3 amongst our guests with us but staff didn't seem to care 🤔 No salt and pepper offered or napkins, by the staff, nor are they on any of the tables. I think maybe going back to basics would be more beneficial, considering the prices they're charging as well. Won't be back in any hurry, I think R2D2 would be spinning around in circles wondering what's going on over here... The food we ordered amongst the group was nice and it was tasty but that's all the positives, the rest is needing prompt improvements, even the local fish and chip shop is catering better for its guests, so that's saying something...

Had a fabulous lunch with a very good choice of menu.The staff were very attentive in filling up water glasses and asking if all well.Overall a great dining experience, had never been before and will certainly go again. Thanks Mercury,myself and 2 daughters really enjoyed our lunch.

Excellent food. Small menu but what we had was outstanding. Could not of faulted it. Wasn’t expecting that. Good service. Will go again and would recommend to everyone

Great food and service. It was pretty empty on the weekend. I didn’t need to reserve a table. First time going there and will be back.

Very nice little restaurant in the museum, food was very nice but my portion of salmon fish cakes could have been a little bigger considering the price. The chickpea salad got rave reviews! We were a table of 5- and 1-person's order was forgotten about, it was mentioned twice to the waitress before it was brought to the table. This is a nice space but probably better to catch up for a snack, coffee or wine with friends. The menu is so limited, if you're fussy you probably won't find anything here for you.
