   7/26/24 9:30pm Party of 5 I normally enjoy leaving great review and tend oversee some mishaps but this place was a total let down, truly embrassing to bring my groomsmen out for a night out, one of the worst service I’ve received. I wrote a length detail experience, you can find on Google and yelp! Reason why I want this to not go unnoticed and need to be rectified immediately, this place has so much potential to be ran the way it is! Again go to Google and yelp and read reviews there! I am embrassed and disappoint in the experience I got and share with my guys!

   Our friend gathering was pleasant and the good was great. Chris was an absolute gentleman as well as the servers. Thank you and we'll be back.

   It was a disappointing cigar lounge. We went down a flight of stairs into a dark and dingy space. The AC wasn't working, so it was stuffy. A very limited supply of cigars was available. Andrea was the only one on duty, and she was lovely but harried. She alone is not enough to send us back anytime soon. There are so many other great lounges in NYC, like Soho, Carnegie Club, or Macanudo, to choose from. Be aware, POTL!

   Hey kdmeit, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're so sorry to hear that your experience at our cigar lounge didn't meet your expectations. Regretfully our air conditioning was briefly under repair but I'm happy to assure you it's back up and functional and our cigar selection is now full again now that the heat doesn't run the risk of damaging them. We appreciate your honesty and will take your comments into consideration as we work to improve our space and offerings and certainly hope you will give us another try in the future.

   A nice option for a good drink and a cigar. I wish the cigar selection was a bit more expansive but the service makes up for it. Our server John was awesome. Will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC

   I’m a regular at Merchants this place has been my release after a long days work. Yesterday was the 1st time I received an overall TERRIBLE experience. I was charged for multiple items that I did not receive, not only that but there was several patrons with the same issue! How ironic was that?? It seems like it was some sort of scheme that was being played with the servers and it was so not ACCEPTABLE‼️ The attitude from the server when it was brought to his attention MULTIPLE times! In addition to that it was a very limited supply of sugars and most were stale. This was very disappointing, I don’t ever want to give up on this place because I love it so.. Try getting your OLD team back who actually cared about the service and your guest! Kisha H.

    We have been going to Merchants Cigar Bar for many years and never had a bad experience. D and John did a phenomenal job taking care of us. They were very attentive and friendly and made our experience very enjoyable. Definitely looking forward to our next visit there with some friends.
