We had a great experience at Merchant society. The staff were welcoming and the service was very good. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed some of their great cocktails as well. Would definitely come again.

A great restaurant that we had never been to before. The food was fresh and tasty and the ambience of the restaurant was fantastic. The staff were also amazing. Highly recommend.

I booked this place for a rowdy family get together after the footy finished up at nearby Etihad stadium. With about 15 of us walking over from the stadium after the footy finished, I was very pleased with how readily the staff accommodated such a big group. Food came quickly and was classic, well executed Malaysian fare. The wine list was better than expected too. Oh and there's a screen showing the footy (though in not too an intrusive way, which is good) in case you can't get enough of it. The staff were fast and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place for a good solid pre- or post-footy feed.
