Always above and beyond
Been here before, food and service is always very good.
Excellent food, service, and drinks!
Great food. Service was lacking
We had the pizza. It was served quickly and was delicious.
I always regret not ordering 2 shrimp salads. That is my favorite dish every time. Was great for Sunday brunch with my family.
Guess they're used to dealing with tourists. Oysters were crap and after complaining still weren't taken off the bill. Yuck.
The room was VERY hot.
The food was weirdly portioned- my friend ordered the avocado toast, expecting what she usually gets at other places (either two pieces of thin bread or one fluffy slice...she got one thin sliced in two.), and it was one small slice. She was starving the rest of the meal and ended up ordering more
To dark, nice menu but my friends were not impressed. I
They need a total revamp! They need new staff!
We ate downstairs, where there is also a bar. This place and the people in it look just like they do in movies and TV shows set in NYC: the place has a cool, energetic vibe, and pretty much everyone was good looking. The food is also very good, the wine list and cocktails were excellent, and, surprisingly, the prices were very reasonable. A great place for a date or before a night out with friends.
Food was delicious and enjoyed ambiance.
Outstanding dinner after a full day shopping Soho. One of the best burgers I have had!
It was incredibly dark but the food was delicious and the service excellent. The salmon was cooked to perfection and all the food was seasoned incredibly well.
They lost our credit card. So I will never be returning. The service was extremely poor. We asked for several things many times and never got it. For the price we paid not worth it. Especially that they LOST our credit card . We now have to go through the hassle and calling our bank, being without a credit card for a week. The manager was there but she really didn't get it. Don't care how sorry you are, your service is poor and now we have to go through all the headache.
The decor is very nice, kind modern and vintage reformulated old space. The food is very good, not as unusual 'cause I live in Barcelona, where meditarrenean food is everyday kind. The service very good.
I’m a 6’3” 230lbs man. They sat us at a tiny table that seats 2, but there were 3 of us. We had a reservation and there were MANY open tables that were regular size. Not sure what was going on. As someone in the industry, I was questioning some of what was going on.
It was so convenient to get a reservation. The ambiance is amazing as well. Drinks are great. The vegan sandwich, however, fell apart before my first bite.
All time favourite place for weekend brunch in New York.
Roasted Sea Bass is a MUST! Took mom for her birthday brunch, she loved it.
I went for brunch and it was fine. Not amazing but generally good.
I have always loved Mercer Kitchen, but our experience Sunday was very disappointing. The service was inadequate... like they had never worked before. Took forever to get something as simple as coffee and noone ever came back to ask if we wanted a refill.
The food was only mediocre also, with the mac and cheese actually being unedible because it was so oily and hard. So disappointed because I always loved going there.
Took my mother here for the first time - we LOVED the vibe & the brunch menu was INCREDIBLE.
While I waited at the bar for the rest of my party, I was delighted by the excellent service. Jonny was wonderful. The rest of the dinner was excellent. The sea bass carpaccio is an absolute must. That was my second time there in a month or so and will be back for sure!
Apps and drinks were outstanding. Took a long time for our mains to come and when they did, they we're slightly overcooked. But the dessert course absolutely redeemed the meal. I would go back. Maybe not on a busy Friday night.
Nice salad (burrata and beetroot w/goat cheese). Burger just ok.
Service was very disappointing- the food is just okay. If you are in the area, skip it and go to the many other restaurants that you don't have a revolving door of servers that you have to flag down for water.
Awful food. Have been here multiple times and the food was really bad.
Avocado toast was super tiny, the salmon on top was also an extremely small slice—fyi
Great restaurant, food was delicious and the server gave great recommendations
All the vegetarian appetizers, salads and sides that we ordered was great except. The main course offered 2 vegetarian options, fettuccini and a vegan burger (we did not order the burger). The fettuccini was really bad. Undercooked to a point that it stuck to each other and the sauce did not get mixed. They took it back and didn't charge us. It would be great if added one more vegetation main course.
Have eaten many times this was not the usual and it’s too bad
Our drinks were almost non alcoholic there was little too no alcohol in any of the drinks we ordered
Waitstaff was rushing us from the moment we sat down
Dinner was no longer than 45 min
Took 3 different try’s until seating people were even willing too place is at a real table and we were told that was because they did not want us to feel rushed !!!
And we were rushed out with in 45 min
Actually any fast food dinner may have need about the same time
All for the price of a jean George meal
Never brought us the appetizer we ordered well in advance of Ordering our entrees. When they brought our entrees, we asked where the appetizer we ordered was and the server took the entrees away. We had to flag down another server to find out about the appetizer who said it would be right out. We had ordered the artichoke and it was extremely disappointing. When the The lady cleared the appetizer plates she also took most of the other plates including the bread and olive oil off the table that we hadn’t had a chance to touch. By then my drink had been empty for awhile and no one asked if I needed another for close to an additional 15 minutes. Then finally our entrees came back out and my friend ordered an omelette and it came with five tiny chunks of potatoes. We had to flag another server to ask him if it was right and at first he seemed to want to argue with us but then just took it back. The manager came back with the plates and this time it had a lot more potatoes but we couldn’t understand what he said. Every other table was asked if they wanted dessert but us. We had to ask several times for the bill as well. I’ve had good experiences at this place in the past but I doubt I’d come back. I felt throughout that they wrote us off and didn’t care whatsoever if we had a good experience.
Food was terrible - very greasy and small portions. Presentation was also horrific. It’s like they just threw a bunch of old salad leaves onto a plate
Friendly staff, good food, great ambience! Location is perfect for a nice stroll around the SoHo neighborhood after dining! Would definitely recommend!
Outstanding. Clark treated us like we were family. The food and drinks were amazing. We will be coming back!!
Very fine food. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and the sauce was spicy enough to make the combination exciting without overpowering the fish taste.
The food was superb and we thought it was the best restaurant we went to all weekend!
Service was impeccable. Found the food to be a bit on the saltier side but still great. The black truffle & fontina pizza is a MUST try.
