I love the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The service was timely and friendly. I would recommend for a social gathering for family and friends to gather to have a warm and comfortable night out with a menu that would cover many likes. The atmosphere was lively and happy and allows for a casual but upscale menu and environment. We have been a 1/2 dozen times and would go back next time we are in the city. It is our go to place when down in the Soho area for sure.

Disappointing beyond words. As out-of-town visitors, we treasure trying NYC spots. I should have known better than to believe the PR hype. Slow, slow, slow service. Even the busperson was astonished we had not received our drinks and then much later, our food. And sadly, the food was LAME. Avoid this place.

Not a place for Sunday brunch. Poor options, and expensive: $ 130 for 2 people. Save your money. You can have an amazing brunch somewhere else for half the price.

Me and my girlfriend visited you guys from the Netherlands after a tip from a Dutch friend of ours to dine at Mercer Kitchen if we would wanted to combine great food with a vibrant atmosphere.. And she wasn't lying! Great job you guys.. One slight comment, the lower tables aren't a good fit for tall people like me (1,90 meter).

We recently had lunch at this Soho gem. We were very impressed - it was Christmas Day and they were busy but the service was impeccable and the food amazing. We were impressed.
This is a chic restaurant with slick service and a good vibe.

We reserved our Christmas Eve dinner here and ordered prix fixe courses. To say the least, food was terrible- every single dish were sour, all steaks were way under-cooked (we ordered medium and they were closer to rare). The terms in between courses were way too long that we didn't even bother sending food back. The server didn't really understand the menu and came back to ask multiple time. Then at last he presented a wrong check (they charged each course separately instead of as a prix-fixe plus they added some other stuff). So we sent him back - and he brought back a new check that was wrong again. This time, I called the manager, who didn't show up. When she finally showed up (after we paid that third check), she defended the waiter saying "he was with me" - I'm not sure how that was even an excuse for poor service. He also messed up my coffee order, but oh well that was the least of the problem. This place was the perfect way to ruin your Christmas Eve.

My daughters were looking for a great dining experience in SoHo. Having eaten at this restaurant several years ago, I knew they would love the experience in dining in the downstairs. We arrived for our reservation a few minutes early, not expecting to be seated immediately. Although there were several tables available in the downstairs main dining room, we were quickly sent upstairs to eat in the hotel bar and lobby. Which we commented, that I guess we did not fit the patrons that were already seated. Therefore, totally missing the ambiance of the unique restaurant. To make matters worst, we had a waiter with an attitude. No conversation, no suggestions. We were treated as if he was doing us a favor to serve us. My husband ordered the macaroni and cheese, as a side to his pork chop entrée. It did not come with the entrée, and we had to ask the waiter about it twice before it was brought to the table. Again, having to put up with the same waiter that acted as if we were bothering him. There was no apology, just here is your Mac and Cheese - Which was not worth the wait. With so many great restaurants in NYC, waiters need not to have an arrogant attitude.

Great place, with great food, nice size plates to share. Their only problem seems the service: very slow probably due to the system in place? There is a lot of staff but even at a quiet slow time, they seem unequipped to nail it. having said that most of the staff very attentive, so if you have bulks of time...

I have eaten here 30 times easily, Saturday however was horrific. They made us wait over 45 minutes for our 1pm reservation despite empty tables all over.

Before we were seated, they had staff standing around everywhere and I said let's just leave right before we were seated and one of the managers overheard me, walked 6 feet to the hostess stand and told her to seat us now. The rest of the time he just stood there.

When the orders were finally taken 20 minutes after we were seated they arrived lukewarm and incorrect. One was completely the wrong dish and side orders finally arrived at the end of our meal and not with it.

This is without a doubt the worst dining experience in Manhattan in over 5 years. Really sad for such a cool and beautiful place. They clearly need new management.

It felt like we were rushed out from the restaurant. Everything went so fast. We didn't asked after the check, the check was given to us emediatly after the sweets.
One of the waitress took a glas of what she thought was empty, but there was still prosecco in it.
Very good food though.
