Jean-Georges brings a chic vibe to Soho at Mercer Kitchen, with a bright, airy café upstairs and a spacious restaurant on the lower level. The ambiance of the restaurant is timelessly stylish, and sexy, with exposed brick walls. The American Provencal menu features fresh and seasonal ingredients.View Private Dining Details

The ambience was great. Presentation was amazing. I had mixed baby lettuce, fusilli pasta with mushrooms, warm chocolate cake. Pasta perfectly done and the mushrooms were nice and meaty..mmmm. however, the vinaigrette for the salad and lemon cream for the pasta were bit heavy in salt. But aside from that great experience
AMAZING PRIX FIX
It was a Saturday night and pretty good service in pretty good ambience
We arrived for a 6:15 reservation and were made to wait "over there" by a rather disinterested reception team. The meal was good although the value was lackluster given the cramped and awkward table placement, as well as, an impression of indifference to our party. We anticipated a special experience and unfortunately, the food was just not enough to deliver.
Seating for three was a bit too tight, as three of us were seated at a small round fit for two. Atmosphere was quite nice overall. Lighting was just right. Food was presented well, was delicious and served hot. We enjoyed the prosciutto pizza, roasted chicken and the seared scallops. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and made some nice recommendations.
I was underwhelmed by the food especially considering this is a Jean-Georges restaurant. The food was mediocre, tasty but nothing special.
I love this place for business lunches. Delightful staff, nice aesthetic/ambiance, and the food is excellent. I don't know if this was the fault of the kitchen or the waiter, but during my last visit they forgot one of the sides and then later, the madeleines for dessert. He brought the side dish after we had finished lunch and the madeleines after the cappuccinos were done...barely apologized. It most cases, I would imagine some part of that being removed from the bill, but that wasn't proposed by our waiter. When you want the lunch to be about business, you don't want to have be chasing down the waiter. It won't keep me from going back, but it did make me a little less likely to make it my first choice.
Food and Ambience more than delivered. Our server, however was awful.
hip spot serving high quality american standard fare. burger and raw bar were outstanding. the ambiance suits soho well, and unfortunately, so does the value proposition. i guess they have to pay their rent somehow.
Very friendly, informative, and fun staff. Food was fresh and exceptionally good. Vibrant atmosphere in a great space and location. Definitely will go back.
