First entree was bland. They replaced it, which was nice, but the servers were not coordinated. Waitress/waiter switched three times. Drinks were dropped off without any comment. It was an odd experience for a generally good spot.
A little Too Loud
Wonderful experience. Food was delicious and well prepared. The staff was so lovely and most of all they were extremely accommodating to my children's food allergies. So so happy!
Ridiculously overpriced. $11 for a tiny side of kale, $6 to add cheese to a burger and $10 for a bottle of water. Go elsewhere.
Romantic great lighting good music
It was a little chilly in the restaurant - it was freezing outside so we were hoping that it would be warm and cozy. Also, our bill was more than we expected - $8 for a kids hot chocolate seemed crazy to me.
Schedule brunch here on Valentines Day weekend and the staff could not have been nicer. Very cool atmosphere in the basement with brick walls and great lighting. The waffle and pancakes were delicious.
Chef Chris was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious! I had salmon and my friend had steak and they were both perfectly cooked, along with our sides being very tasty and appetizing. All in all the service was good and our overall experience was very pleasant.
Amazing food. Never disappoints!
Great food , great room, clueless waitress
Every time I go to NYC I eat at Mercer Kitchen. I have never had a bad meal there. I wish I didn't live 2800 miles away or I'd eat there all the time! I follow them on Instagram, which I probably shouldn't do because it makes me crazy that I live so far away!! Keep up the good work!
High level of noise. Poor organization. They asked us to move to a different table as they needed to accommodate a big group even though we were already seated and eating. I do not recommend this place. Good for people that don’t care about quality of service and lack of professionalism.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and good service!
We enjoyed our brunch on Sunday, Feb. 9th. My husband had the egg white herb omelette and I had the French toast. The food was good; however, the portions, in particular the French toast were rather skimpy. One piece of French toast for $16 left me feeling "ripped-off". However, $6:00 per cup for REGULAR coffee took the cake for being taken advantage. So, if you decide to eat at Mercer Kitchen, just be prepared for small portions and expensive drinks (coffee, soda).
Was very difficult to get a 1st cup of coffee in a restaurant that wasn’t yet crowded. After several great experiences this one was just ok
Portions were small and for the price I would not return. My friend thought the portions might be smaller since we had the Restaurant Week menu but can't say for sure. The worst part was the shrimp entree was a moderate pile of shrimp with a dipping sauce and nothing else to accompany it!
Black truffle/fontina cheese pizza on the restaurant week lunch menu was superb. Burrata was fresh and creamy. For entrees we had shrimped and angel hair pasta with mushrooms; both very good though shrimp was tad overdone. No beer on tap.
For dinner, the lights and atmosphere is good, but for lunch they can increase the lights.
We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was a very nice experience good food and service.
We went for a late lunch, so it was quite. But, even though it was after the rush service was slow, the food came out cold and not cooked correctly. The waitress was not attentive, the app's came out after the entre'. We were a little disappointed especially given the price tag.
The service was very slow. We sat there with no water and drinks for 20 minutes because we couldn’t find our server. The only thing they did quick was ring my card for a 500 lunch that was mediocre. Extremely disappointed.
Fui por el menú de restaurante week y no coincidía con el publicado. Prolijo. No es imperdible.
I reserved a table for 6 and was put at a table that was way too small. They refused to move us or even add a chair to make it more comfortable. The manager was very rude and told me that if I wanted a different table that I would have to wait an hour and a half (past my reservation time). We ended up staying and was very disappointed by the food. The chicken was so salty that it was not edible. The waiter did not even ask why I did not touch my food. I usually would say something but at this point I was done. The deserts on the other hand were delicious.
Nice service great food. Really pretty lighting. Some pots talkers so that’s a pain but definitely excellent. Lovely staff
Great Date nice ambiance
Amazing meal at Mercer kitchen. The fennel salad is beyond!!!!
Terrible service - very slow. Took us 30 min just to get our dessert served even though it was just 2 slices of cake.
Went for restaurant week. Had a great time. Will definitely be back
Everything was great
A rare daytime date with my wife. We had a lovely meal, and our waitress was attentive and informative. Thanks!
Fantastic food and service, can't wait to come back!
Worst experience of my life. Couldn’t get any worse. 1 hour to get the WRONG appetizer and then the food was completely RAW and the server didn’t return for 1.5 hours. The manager didn’t offer to comp until requested. Then charged $42 for a frkn hamburger.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.
One of my go-tos in SoHo and loved bringing my mom there for the first time last night. We opted out for the Restaurant Week prix-fix and were very happy as those weren't "star" items on the menu. Everything we had was amazing (and I rave about their salads to almost anyone who will listen. Great service and another meal there that was up to every standard.
Amazing food and great service -- would totally come back
Our food came out COLD!!!
Great ambiance , service and food. Will definitely be back!
The dining experience did not live up to our expectations. It’s a great space and the menu is fine. The wait service was poor - forgotten drink order, mixed up menus, not checking back with us during the entire meal - tainted the evening. We had high hopes for the monkfish piccata but the chef thought that a liberal dousing of Frank’s Red Hot was how piccata is made better - no thank you.
Our second dinner at Mercer Kitchen was just as great as the first. Perfect in so many ways- food, atmosphere, service.
Pretty underwhelmed re: service. Our waitress was inattentive and not particularly present. Food was good.
