Terrible food and inattentive service. What a shame.
My one and only complaint would be the noise floor. It was very loud. Acoustic ceiling work would help immensely. Otherwise everything was on point
Overall I always love this place however for my mums 70th birthday the service wasn’t it’s usual best. They forgot two appetizers forgot drink orders and completely forgot to put in one of the guests entree order. Still a great time but the constant asking for things like forks for the oysters and spoons for the sauces to reminding drink orders and everyone being served their entree and one guest having to wait awhile for hers made for a far from perfect night.
Fabulous as always
There are too many options to have lunch or dinner, I would leave this as one of the last.
Fantastic food and ambianace, but we had a 9:30pm reservation on Sunday night and by 10:30, the servers were collection all of the plates and setting off other tables and even took the candle off our table when we were mid-conversation. We get we were being rushed out.
Great location, lovely service and highly recommend
Mercer Kitchen remains to be one of the best restaurants in Soho!!!! it has never changed if anything its
only gotten better - One of my favorite places!!!
Great food and services especially potion of shrimp salad was nice. Noise level was so high because music volume was almost like a dive bar kind and everyone had to speak so loudly. Good for people looking for great vibe.
It’s a nice place. Went with my husband for a date night. The menu is quite basic, the prices are reasonable for the food but the wine menu is very expensive. It can get loud. The tables are very close to each other. My husband had the salmon, I had the ricotta pizza. He said his fish was bland. My pizza was very good actually. This place is slightly above average.
Food was okay. Was expecting much better due to reviews.
Service, food and wine was a wonderful treat. We were very satisfied with the menu and amazing foo! Service was excellent. Hostess and waitress both! Thank you!
Good food great service fast meal
The food was great! Service could be a little better, I wish they came around the table few times more to see if we needed anything. The place is very nice and cozy.
I enjoyed lunch with my family here. Great location! Tasty food as well!
First entree was bland. They replaced it, which was nice, but the servers were not coordinated. Waitress/waiter switched three times. Drinks were dropped off without any comment. It was an odd experience for a generally good spot.
A little Too Loud
Wonderful experience. Food was delicious and well prepared. The staff was so lovely and most of all they were extremely accommodating to my children's food allergies. So so happy!
Ridiculously overpriced. $11 for a tiny side of kale, $6 to add cheese to a burger and $10 for a bottle of water. Go elsewhere.
Romantic great lighting good music
It was a little chilly in the restaurant - it was freezing outside so we were hoping that it would be warm and cozy. Also, our bill was more than we expected - $8 for a kids hot chocolate seemed crazy to me.
Schedule brunch here on Valentines Day weekend and the staff could not have been nicer. Very cool atmosphere in the basement with brick walls and great lighting. The waffle and pancakes were delicious.
Chef Chris was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious! I had salmon and my friend had steak and they were both perfectly cooked, along with our sides being very tasty and appetizing. All in all the service was good and our overall experience was very pleasant.
Amazing food. Never disappoints!
Never on a Sunday. A litany of mis-steps, a disappointing diner.
Great food , great room, clueless waitress
Every time I go to NYC I eat at Mercer Kitchen. I have never had a bad meal there. I wish I didn't live 2800 miles away or I'd eat there all the time! I follow them on Instagram, which I probably shouldn't do because it makes me crazy that I live so far away!! Keep up the good work!
High level of noise. Poor organization. They asked us to move to a different table as they needed to accommodate a big group even though we were already seated and eating. I do not recommend this place. Good for people that don’t care about quality of service and lack of professionalism.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and good service!
We enjoyed our brunch on Sunday, Feb. 9th. My husband had the egg white herb omelette and I had the French toast. The food was good; however, the portions, in particular the French toast were rather skimpy. One piece of French toast for $16 left me feeling "ripped-off". However, $6:00 per cup for REGULAR coffee took the cake for being taken advantage. So, if you decide to eat at Mercer Kitchen, just be prepared for small portions and expensive drinks (coffee, soda).
Was very difficult to get a 1st cup of coffee in a restaurant that wasn’t yet crowded. After several great experiences this one was just ok
Portions were small and for the price I would not return. My friend thought the portions might be smaller since we had the Restaurant Week menu but can't say for sure. The worst part was the shrimp entree was a moderate pile of shrimp with a dipping sauce and nothing else to accompany it!
Black truffle/fontina cheese pizza on the restaurant week lunch menu was superb. Burrata was fresh and creamy. For entrees we had shrimped and angel hair pasta with mushrooms; both very good though shrimp was tad overdone. No beer on tap.
For dinner, the lights and atmosphere is good, but for lunch they can increase the lights.
We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was a very nice experience good food and service.
We went for a late lunch, so it was quite. But, even though it was after the rush service was slow, the food came out cold and not cooked correctly. The waitress was not attentive, the app's came out after the entre'. We were a little disappointed especially given the price tag.
The service was very slow. We sat there with no water and drinks for 20 minutes because we couldn’t find our server. The only thing they did quick was ring my card for a 500 lunch that was mediocre. Extremely disappointed.
Fui por el menú de restaurante week y no coincidía con el publicado. Prolijo. No es imperdible.
I reserved a table for 6 and was put at a table that was way too small. They refused to move us or even add a chair to make it more comfortable. The manager was very rude and told me that if I wanted a different table that I would have to wait an hour and a half (past my reservation time). We ended up staying and was very disappointed by the food. The chicken was so salty that it was not edible. The waiter did not even ask why I did not touch my food. I usually would say something but at this point I was done. The deserts on the other hand were delicious.
Nice service great food. Really pretty lighting. Some pots talkers so that’s a pain but definitely excellent. Lovely staff
