Mercato Della Pescheria

We've been to Mercato Della Pescheria several times and each time has been excellent. Our recent experience was not. The service was slow. The food was not as good as in the past. We informed the server and manager about the food issues. While they had no explanation for the food issues they did comp one of our meals. We likely won't be back.
Kids first visit to Vegas, the food was very good and the Branzino was a standout best.
We will be back, we love seafood and it was great. We had the seafood linguine and the bass. We started with the meat and cheese plate. The food was great. Bryan our server was wonderful, he had some great suggestions and was very personable. We are locals and will be back. We have found another great place to eat.
Great service, everything that we had was very good, calamari was wonderful, the risotto was very well done, shrimp were huge and tasty
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed! Front end was accommodating for me (I am in a wheelchair) in finding a good table. The staff were very helpful with paying attention to my wife's allergens and making sure the food met the criteria. Our server, Ricardo, was prompt and helpful in pointing out the dishes that could be eaten by my wife. My wife had gluten free pasta and clams in white wine sauce that was delicious. I had the Linguini Frutti Di Mare and it was fantastic! It was fun searching through the linguini for little hidden treasures (squid, octopus, etc). We also had a dozen oysters on the half shell with accompanying sauces - very good! The supervisor (we didn't ask for her name but she did mention she was from Cuba - if that helps to identify her!) also came over to ensure that the meal was to our expectation. All in all it was a great experience and we highly recommend Mercato as a great place to eat while at the Venetian!
Making reservations thru OpenTable was easy and proved the BEST! Our dinning experience was exceptional!
Great dinner. We have dined at their location in Miami Beach and were very pleased so we figured we would try the Vegas location and it was great, Everyone enjoyed their meal and thanked me for the recommendation. The pasta dish with shrimp, clams, muscles & calamari with lobster broth is a total winner.
The location inside the Venetian's St. Mark's Square is a perfect setting for an entertaining and enjoyable meal. The service was excellent (thank you Esther!) and the fresh fish dishes were well presented and delicious. Pricing was reasonable for the Strip and happy hour brought the price of wine and appetizers down to $7 each - a real bargain. The costumed performers were in easy view, and we lingered long enough to see two hourly shows. The ambiance was loud but not so much as to preclude conversation and the staff was not hurrying you to clear the table. Overall, an excellent dining experience.
Amazing experience- waiter was awesome and the food was absolutely delicious. The tiramisu is the best I have ever had
We ate here twice while in town for a convention. I had the Seafood Risotto one night and the Gnocchi the next. Both were absolutely exceptional. My husband had the Grilled Prawns the first night and Lasagna the second. The meals were all well cooked and artfully presented. Flavor was amazing. Service was perfect - attentive but never annoying. I've been wanting to try this place each year we're here, and this was well worth it. This was superior to most of the Italian restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo.
This was a birthday celebration for my husband! Marco was very attentive and we were were very pleased with everything! This was a birthday celebration for my husband! Marco was very attentive and we were were very pleased with everything!
The waiter was less than experienced and somewhat ruined the entire dining event.
When it's convention time, finding a good lunch spot is important and difficult but Mercado Della Pescheria is great. It's biggest drawback is that it's in St Mark's Square and subject to the acts that perform there throughout the lunch time. We had a light lunch -- Caesar salad to start and tuna tartar and a small pizza to finish. It gets very busy during conventions so that our decision to go a bit early was perfect. Bravo Mercado!
Celebrated wife’s 65th birthday here. Awesome service!
The food was fabulous. Cacio e Pepe was prepared table side and was delicious. Our waiter, Fabio, was attentive. The atmosphere was authentic and fun. I felt as though I was dining in Italy. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Vegas.
Salty food was unpleasant. Good service. Waiter did all he could be chef spoiled the food.
Very expensive New Year’s Eve dinner with “oysters and bubbles” who turned out to be one small piece of oyster in an Prosecco shot. What??
We went there for New Year Eve dinner. The foods were so good! Love the service here too. Marko is our server, and I wasn't disappointed. We'll come next time when we are back in Las vegas.
Very very nice food for a very good price on our NYE celebration! Very recommended ! Especially good service!
Good was awful
Waiter was nice, very attentive
The staff was incredible. I can't say enough of how great everyone was from beginning to end. The food was meh. The risotto my husband ate wasn't cooked enough and my bolognese was crazy salty.
Food quality was acceptable but not exceptional. Grilled Octopus is way too salty but the restaurant was kindly replaced it with another appetizer we ordered. Our waiter did not ask us how we liked our bone-in Ribeye to be prepared. Understandable the restaurant was busy during holiday time and the steak turned out to be ok. The pasta dish we ordered was pretty good.
We went for Christmas dinner and had a very good meal, didn't feel rushed, and were seated in the St. Mark's Square area in view of the stage with live Christmas music. Very enjoyable!
Fantastic! I found this restaurant by highest rated and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was top notch! The service was impeccable, and I could not say enough about the quality of food. It had the freshest seafood. Our waiter and the manager were attentative, but not overly. We sat in the patio area that had a perfect view of passerbys and music. Perfect night!
Our server Dave was fantastic...such a pleasure to speak with. He was genuinely interested in getting to know us & openly sharing his story. Great food, great service....5 stars!
Both the service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend.
The area in the Venetian in St. Mark's square is a fun place to eat. The service was outstanding. The food was hit and miss for the group. My halibut was good, but overpriced for the quality. Jumbo prawns were very good for one diner. Appetizers were excellent. The oddball diner that ordered pasta thought it was OK. It was a nice dinner, but with all of the other great options in the Venetian/Palazzo property and overall in Vegas, I probably won't return. It seems weird to say that about a 4 star experience.
Seafood risotto was tasty. Seating was within the walkways of the shoppes so lots of people and ambient noise. However the occasional contortionist acts and short musicals made the outside seating worthwhile.
Birthday. Was amazing
While the food was tasty and arrived in a decent time frame, it didn't matter that we had a reservation - everyone was seated on a first come first served basis. We were seated right beside a fishy smelling seafood dusplay. There was no toilet paper in the women's washroom and nobody acted on replacing it when it was brought to the attention of staff. It was noisy, but that seems to be par for the course for Vegas.
Really good food and great service. Unique setting.
We wanted seafood for dinner and this wasn't our first choice, but WOW! It would be now. Amazing food and service was top notch. We chose to try the tasting menu, and it was the right choice. For just a bit more than the entree, we got a bargain for the appetizer. I had the grilled octopus, done to perfection, and my spouse chose the spicy grilled shrimp, that he loved. For our entrees, he had the halibut and I had the branzino. And in addition to the great meal, we had entertainment in the open space, some of it unintended. The musical trio was fronted by an attractive blond, with a great operatic voice, but a Japanese tour group passing by took turns taking selfies with her, holding up her musical contribution. The restaurant is in the recreated St. Mark's Square, and through the evening, various doors opened and windows had lights, adding to the overall ambiance.
The restaurant is Italian but except pasta there is nothing Italian. We ordered cheeses for appetizer that were terrible. The main course was pasta which was ok. Don’t think we’ll be back. We landed live in Vegas and there are much, much better Italian restaurants around.
The restaurant had a lot of charm, and it appeared they were using very fresh ingredients. Slicing prosciutto on the spot, fresh fish sitting on ice as you walk in, home made pasta. We sat inside and found it was very loud. The service was excellent. Having lived 10 years in Italy, and with my wife being Italian I was very much looking forward to the food, especially after reading the reviews. We had calamari as an appetizer. It was not over cooked or oily but I found it to be a little rubbery when chewing, so not sure if it was previously frozen. My wife had spaghetti with clams and I had linguine with seafood. Both pastas were cooked to al dente, a little too al dente for my taste. Being both dishes were seafood we didn’t expect to find that they were both very dry dishes, thick, gummy, no juices/sauce whatsoever. Meaning if you put a piece of bread in the dish the bread would not have any sauce on it when you pulled it out. For the price we paid $$, I expected much better food.
Food was great. They layout of the resturant just makes it very loud. The service was okay and got the job done.
Fantastic ribeye steak and great Pizzas with excellent service.
Loved the food. Excellent meat and cheese board, and the grilled sea bass was outstanding. My husband loved his risotto. Prices are high end, but so is the food. Not much atmosphere on the outside seating, but prompt service. We enjoyed it very much.
Aloha from Hawaii! Celebrated my 10th year wedding anniversary and brought a beautiful cake for the occasion. I was just bombed about the $4 per person cutting fee but over all I had an excellent experience. Much love... R&S
