   The long and short is that the food was very good and the place is very nice, but it is greatly overpriced. We can get food just as good at The Flaming Fajita at about half the price. We will not return.

   We had a reservation for 7:00 but decided to go in early. They would have been happy to seat us at that hour but we opted to sit in the bar so we could watch the NFL game. If you're looking for combo plates, enchiladas, tamales, and that sort of traditional Mex/American food, you're in the wrong place. We had excellent salsa, guac, and several types of different and delicious tacos. It was a perfect amount of food that was really tasty. We also enjoyed a few house margaritas...also very good.

   I like that they take reservations, the outside area looked really fun & we will go back to try that when warmer. The food was fun, very different & has small plate options which we liked. We would like to try it again when it is not so crazy, we went on December 25 before a movie.

   Service was exceptional! Xavier our server was well informed about the menu and made wonderful Taco & Cocktail recommendations for our first visit here. We ordered a selection of tacos and all of them were delicious. Highly recommended the surf and turf and shrimp tacos. Husband had the pork belly tacos and like the shrimp better. All were flavored very well and extremely tasty. Only down side to our visit is We ordered the fundio cheese dip that we were less than impressive- it was more like warm string cheese with small tortillas. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our first visit to this restaurant and will be back again.

   Firstly, the selection of elevated tacos is outstanding- over my past few visits I've tried at least six from the menu, myself...and then there's the "off the menu" options. Strongly recommend you ask the wait-staff what's "also" available. One of those, a Sea Bass taco, brought together ingredients you'd never imagine combining together. BEST TACO I'VE EVER HAD! Also, you MUST order their guacamole. The chef insists on only grade 1 avocados and the result is the freshest, most delicious guacamole. I know this because after complimenting the food to the busboy, he offered to bring out the chef, who was more than happy to engage with us and discuss his philosophy. Goes without saying, my wife and I will be going back soon and often. Love Mercadito!

   I went there with my family (party of 6) for a thanksgiving dinner because we got an e-mail advertisement that said they were having a Thanksgiving dinner. When me and my family got there we waited 30 min despite having reservations, next the waiter who looked over worked and not so happy with an bad attitude told us they had ran out of turkey and not serving thanksgiving dinner. We we're so bummed but stayed. I got enchiladas "Christmas style" meaning both type of sauces green and red. Bad idea cause it messed up my stomach. A lot of my family got the flautas. I tasted them. Food was mediocre. Nothing special . It was a nice ambience though. Great music. I'd definitely would not recommend it to anyone or go back.

   On the pricey side, expected. Ordered the shrimp (camerones) enchiladas, got maybe 3 or 4 small shrimp. Also ordered the Langosta (said lobster) enchiladas, looked like langostinas not Lobster. Place is now permanently closed and now a different establishment.

    If you like eclectic tex-mex, this is your spot. One of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Food is top notch, service is outstanding. Highly recommended!
