Great dinner as usual at Melograno! Staff were excellent and the food was perfect. Great night!

Great restaurant! A hidden gem BYOB. Food is delicious and service was great. We came here for my birthday and it was perfect.

Due to Covid19, service was outside. The staff could not have been more attentive. Dinner was delicious and we love to byob. Well done Melograno.

Wait staff have awesome personalities and food was wisely prepared to impress. All Fresh, all well seasoned and most importantly nice proportions.

The website doesn't list that they are BYOB, we saw it as we were walking in the door. Outside of that everything was excellent.

Highly recommend the Lamb Shank, it was amazing and we loved the mussels. Very impressed with the food overall (no complaints in our group).

General question, if there are four people at a table why bring a bread basket with only 3 pieces of bread?

Total disappointment. After eating here for years and enjoying every bite our dinner was an epic fail. Seafood stew had prawn heads but no tails. When I pointed it out to our server he said he would “tell the chef.” No apology. No replacement. We will NEVER be back.

I love this restaurant. Everything about it. I feel totally safe with their precautions, the service is great. And the food is always fantastic.

Exquisite dinner. We ate outdoors by choice, so the noise and ambience were whatever was happening on Sansom Street, but the smart and attentive staff more than made up for it.

It’s nice to see our old “go to places” are still around! As always the food was excellent as was the service. A big “Thank you” to their management and staff !

WOW! Impeccable service, food and ambiance even with any COVID modifications. Our server Nicolas and management/support staff were all so warm and knowledgeable about the menu. We particularly loved the sea bass special and lamb osso bucco. Very glad Melograno is making it work during tough times (and making it look effortless)!

It is our go to restaurant when craving authentic Italian food. I had the special sea bass and it was spectacular. Partner had the pappardelle with truffle oil. I love this restaurant

I really enjoy Italian restaurants; the ambience, the music, and the people all make these types of environments fantastic. There was a great environment and feel but the waiters weren’t polite. They ignored my table when we had questions and acted as if we should leave. The food was also sub par. I went for philly food week and the FOOD WAS SUB PAR. I expected more from their “signature truffle pasta dish” but it was not good.

We had a lovely experience dining outdoors during Restaurant Week. The food is phenomenal, and the staff are very professional. We look forward to going back soon.

I had a great dining experience! The food was amazing and is now one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. The staff was also great and super welcoming!

Food was very good, I’d try this place again. Liked that it was a BYOB, did a good job at outside seating. Only negative is that both of us asked for the fish to be a little undercooked, and it wasn’t.

Melograno has always been my absolute favorite Italian BYO in the city. This past Saturday I was disappointed. I understand COVID has changed a lot of things for the restaurant industry, and it's hard to deliver incredible service when servers are probably fearing for their lives. With that said, the service wasn't bad, but it wasn't incredible either. The food was not bad. But I don't go to Melograno for not bad, I go for great food, service, and presentation. I will go back one more time in a few months hoping this is just a result of the COVID situation, and I really hope they are incredible again.

We had an OK experience at Melograno. Obviously everything is a bit of a struggle with covid, but I’m glad they’re able to do business. We were sat on an isolated table relatively far from the restaurant, located in front of the metal shutter of a comic book store, so we lost some of the ambiance of other guests.

The food was fine, but they had run out of pizza dough (at 7pm!) so we had to go for plan B.

Fantastic food and service

Can't wait to get back to Philly so I can come back for another meal.

Great place off the beat and path of Philadelphia. Food is A+
