Melograno was established in 2003 by Chef Gianluca Demontis & Rosemarie Tran. The couple met in Rome when Rose was studying abroad. When Luca relocated to Philadelphia they wanted to represent his roots. Located in the beautiful Rittenhouse Square, surrounded by shops and entertainment. Melograno is a warm haven for good food and comforting service. A place to enjoy with friends and family. We are a BYOB so bring the spirits of your choice, we are happy to serve you.

Food excellent and service. Get the meatballs, arugula salad and the burrata for apps. Very loud noise level though made it difficult to talk.

Wonderful, intimate dining experience. Food was well presented and perfectly cooked. Other than the fact that the entry area makes dining close to the door an unattractive option, I would heartily recommend this restaurant to all diners!

I had the bucatini - delicious. My partner had the fish special which he enjoyed. We come here at least 1-2 times every quarter and have never been disappointed.

The food was well-prepared, and the manager made an appearance during service, which was appreciated. Our server recommended his favorite dish, which I did end up ordering. I thought the overall atmosphere felt too casual given the price point, though. The use of paper placemats seemed strange, and I found it odd to be cutting meatballs with a butter knife. While the flavor was wonderful, the meatballs were served slightly cold. My entrée—the pork chop—was satisfactory. The dessert menu was limited, and the pot de crème we ordered fell short of expectations. I ordered coffee after my meal and it was overly diluted and resembled tea more than a proper cup of coffee. Overall delicious food with a casual atmosphere.
