REALLY GREAT PLACE!!! I’ll say that the food getting to the table was a bit slower than I expected, but once the beautifully plated items came to the table I definitely understood why. They truly take the time needed to make everything as perfect as possible. Both appearance and taste. And the menu was one of those where I literally couldn’t decide until the last moment because the choices were incredible. We’ll be back. Zero doubt about that. I have at least 4 or 5 more visits before I’ll get through the items I almost ordered Saturday. And as someone said…make a reservation. Via phone or OpenTable. WHAT A GEM!!!

My husband and I came here for brunch with another couple. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately (which I highly recommend as they were pretty busy - I think we would have had to wait otherwise). Our server was fantastic and our drinks came out quickly but the appetizers and mains took a while to come out (30+ min) and they all came out together instead of staggered. All the food and drinks we ordered were excellent! We had the Burrata pasta salad, biscuits, Mexican street corn dip, chicken and waffles, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and the goat cheese grilled cheese. I think with some more time being open and getting all the kinks out this place will be 5 stars. I look forward to coming back for dinner once they start dinner service regularly!

I went for the dinner and I look forward to trying brunch since that's their main offering. The dinner was fine and cost a lot for what was offered. We had the canapés which were fairly disappointing, being 20-30 pieces of incompletely popped popcorn dusted with purple powder and small bits of bread. The entrees were okay. The steak was great and the salmon was dry. The old fashioned was very strong and the daiquiri and pink gin drink were very good. The chocolate mousse wasn't great. I would like to try melodies again other time though.

I really liked the place but the service was very very slow. And it’s super expensive. Plus, I think the manager or owner who was there, should have been a lot friendlier. She sat in the corner with a RBF and didn’t talk to any of the costumers. I’m not trying to be an AHole cause I really think that place has a whole lot of potential. The food is really good

I would recommend it. However, the person that greeted us knew someone in my party. They followed us to the table and chatted for quite a long time (well over five minutes). Their conversation from the greeter was quite unprofessional. They spoke about them getting kicked out of school and named teachers that they didn't like at the high school that they were kicked out of. Also, about halfway through the meal, they returned to continue to chat. It was very annoying and made the person in my party feel awkward. They even asked to take a photo with the person in my party. After paying the bill, we snuck out when the greeter went to the back of the restaurant to avoid a photo. Great restaurant but would have loved to enjoy a meal and fellowship without the greeter interrupting for over half of the meal.

Had a great Mother’s Day brunch at melodys with nice music and an artist painting in the corner. The food was great (a few more options for kids would be nice). It was a bit expensive but the environment and service was great!

I wanted to love my experience here as we need more brunch places in town but left disappointed. The drinks I had were great but 2 people in our party were disappointed to find out that a brunch place that serves liquor did not serve bloody marys. One person in our party ordered a salad and informed our waiter that she had been given the wrong salad, it was missing pretty much everything (she was brought salad greens with the wrong vinaigrette, tomatoes and Parmesan)...fruit, candied nuts, goat cheese, the correct dressing...Our waiter told her he would get her salad remade but instead of receiving a new one the chef gave her a ramekin of candied nuts and strawberries to add to it, our waiter tried to make it right by taking it off our bill but whoever he spoke with would not let him. When our table asked to speak with a manager we were told there was no manager to speak with us and the owners were not there. The plates are small for the money, the kids meals (waffle) were not enough to come close to filling up my four year old. Two in our party were not impressed with the chicken and waffles and left over half of their food. The street corn was good but chips were stale. Hoping that after being open for a while things will become more consistent.

Long wait time for food, overpriced small drinks ( no bloody Mary’s on brunch menu!). Had the jalapeño margarita which had no heat at all. Ordered the goat cheese sandwich and could find no peach notes at all although good and large portion size. Super cute interior but will probably stick to Meggs.

My family and I had brunch at Melody’s and the drinks we ordered were so cute and delicious! We all got different drinks and enjoyed them throughly. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was very good. I will also suggest ordering the deviled eggs as this was my 2nd time eating at Melody’s and I can’t go in without them. My fiancé was very happy with the chicken & waffles he ordered. The chicken was cooked perfectly and crunchy! A great addition to Downtown Temple!

They got our reservation wrong and had trouble finding a table that could fit all of us in. When they did, it took a long time for a waitress to come to our table. Also, the food portions are too small for the price though it is delicious. And what’s the point of an appetizer if they’re going to bring it out with all the other food. Atmosphere is great. Employees are nice when they actually acknowledge you.

Even though the restaurant had only been open for a couple of weeks… The food was delicious… However, my order did not match the menu… Had to ask for all of the components of the melody’s salad … the server was very kind in bringing each component to the table… Another table that ordered the exact same thing that I did had the same problem… They are a new establishment… Definitely worth a try…

It was a wonderful brunch. The candied bacon, and brunch courses were very flavorful and perfectly done. All of the ingredients were very fresh. I hope that the chef and his wife will eventually consider a nighttime menu, especially on the weekends.

What a lovely new jewel in Temple’s crown! Gorgeous, thoughtful interior. Friendly and engaging service. Delicious food, presented beautifully. Reasonable prices. Amazing cocktails. It’s a perfect brunch spot! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience for an opening weekend outing at this new brunch spot downtown. Very pleased with the lavender mimosas and the shakshuka.. so delish! The host, server and bartenders were very friendly and attentive- I will be back!

Great spot for fun brunch, celebratory/chatty meals. Service, food and drinks are good but can be slow. Very pretty interior. Go in planning to spend at least an hour and enjoy!

Melody's Brunch and Bar is such a great addition to Temple's downtown area. The vibe is upbeat, the food is so good and well portioned and the service by Raymond was not only pleasant but fun!
