The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

When we treat ourselves and go to Melina for dinner, we expect good food and excellent service. Thursday, July 10, we were NOT disappointed. A waiter's attitude, knowledge of the menu items and willingness to make recommendations can make or break a dining experience. Our waiter, Tom, was a delight!! All of the staff were so attentive -- they made us feel like we were the only people dining. As soon as we walked in, I did notice the volume at the restaurant was louder than on previous occasions. Kudos to the gentleman at the front desk who cheerfully responded to my requests to change our table twice so we could be at a table that was not so noisy. Unfortunately, we still had to yell across the table to talk to our friends, but maybe they were hard of hearing?? No more Thursday night visits, but always looking forward to going to Melina. Thank you

Interesting food combinations! Tasted good - but not worth the $100 per couple we paid for lunch, and not ordering the highest priced items nor any "drinks", only ice tea.

My wife and I have been to Melina a number of times. Consistently delicious. Our server last night, Justin, was incredible. A walking food encyclopedia. He could go into chapter and verse on anything ... from a tonka berry to Greek mythology. Super impressive. Really personable, too. We'll be requesting Justin every time we go back. What a wonderful experience.

Our dining experience last evening was excellent as usual. Melina never disappoints us. The manager (young, dark hair) is always on sight to ensure everything is perfect for customers.

It seemed like the AC was not working or failing. Hopefully it’s a temp thing…food was amazing.
