   Great Sunday roast, would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Such a shame it’s last day was Sunday 30th July.

   food was SO expensive - like £80-£100 bill just for starters main and wine. and for all that, the food was MID

   Food took an hour to arrive I don’t even think the waiter with the glasses even placed order! We had to ask another waiter for our drinks and then our food. I was also wrongly charged!

   It was a nice place to go for a dinner, and the service was absolutely fantastic. The waiters made sure that we were looked after and were very conversational throughout. The food was excellent and the drinks that we chose were also lovely. I would definitely recommend to anybody who lives in the area for a dinner or even for a private hire as they also manage large bookings.

   Completely disappointed with this restaurant. The food was completely bland and overpriced. The staff were very rude and only prioritising tables that had more people. It is very unprofessional to be keeping people waiting for a long period of time and not being able to be in touch with the staff for over 30 mins because they were busy with other tables. Completely disappointed looks better than it is. Save your money and go to another place. Also charged £16 for service fee. But their service was completely rubbish ! Food disgusting! Staff rude ! I am so annoyed as it was for a friends birthday and she was completely upset. Couldn’t provide us with a nice table. The room was cold. Just pure disappointment

   Regardless of not being satisfied with the food, the manager really helped us out and made sure to deliver the best of the services which was appreciated the most by me. It was a birthday motive for myself, and knowing I wasn’t as happy the manager said the dessert was on him. Overall, a pleasant experience

    I never have any problems at Melin. I been going for years. But only critiscm Is to change the dessert menu back. I don’t think restaurants realise how much money they loose on desserts I don’t go to certain restaurants if they don’t have a good dessert menu I don’t care how good the food is. I still go to Melin because there’s a co op next door and I end up buying dessert. Some advice most people do not eat diary products annymore and a lot of people are allergic to nuts. So having chocolate only desserts is disappointing. Please put back the sticky toffee pudding and bring in vegan ice cream with apple pie. Thanks and good luck.
